If sin is not imputed without the law, how can some claim that babies and children die because Adam's sin is imputed to them?

1 John 3:1b-2 and from Philippians 3:21 ~ We should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.

Are you saying that baby then goes to hell?
Not at all. People go to hell for their rejection of Christ. He died to remove the barrier of sin that kept us from God. He succeeded in that mission so now no-one is without excuse. The vilest of sinners can be saved and anyone who is not mentally capable of discerning right from wrong due to youth or impairment, are judged according to God's righteous integrity so unless we think we can do a better job that God, (and I'm sure you would agree with me that is certainly not you or I), we need have no fear of God getting it wrong.

So,you believe the unborn or newborns who die, go to Hell?
I would say that it would depend on them being among the elect of God. But, Christians who lose a child at birth or shortly thereafter should take comfort in knowing that God has a remnant (His people) that receive grace beyond measure.

No one is elected to be saved and every child or childlike understanding receives God's grace. You cannot be blamed for what you can't understand, that would make God cruel indeed.

The hope of actual Christianity is a deeper and deeper growing communion with God.
eternal life.

but death is the antithesis of life, and death is the wage of sin, and enters through sin.
and you seem to believe that even having received the reward of faith, at the end of the age, there will still be sin.

so do you actually have any hope..?

Yeah. The calvies and their Super duper election have THEIR butts and kids safe.

They have no idea of the character and integrity of God.

That's probably a conversation that you should have with God himself. However, I will not speculate as to all newborns going to heaven. God will have mercy on whomever He wishes.
