I think I should wait until the millennium age to start dating again.

Yet in the Book of Job it says. "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them" Job 1:6
That was about 2,000 BC. And there is no reference to any marrying. "The sons of God" in the OT are direct creations of God (angels).

Millennium Dating:

Some people in the millennium will live to be 1,000.
There's no way I'm dating some old lady that's 1,000 years old.
I don't care if it's selfish, or egotistical, or whatever.... but I'm holding out for a young chick... I'm not dating anyone over 150.

Who are we supposed to be pleasing--ourselves, others, or Jesus--all the time? Jesus. Certainly, never ourselves.
Jesus first, but not never ourselves. I doubt you live by that credo. I'm sure you eat what your health will allow you to enjoy, and listen to music that makes you feel good.

Avoid all extremes, as Proverbs says.

The one who is able to accept this, let him accept it. ' For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, there are eunuchs who were made by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves that way because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who is able to accept it should accept it." Matt 19:12 Some can accept the singles life, others never will. It's not in them to accept it.
Agreed. I was quite happy being married. It does force you to come outside yourself so that you also must consider another's needs. Hardly unChristian. But, it is also great when she does something sweet and thoughtful for you, provides you with warm companionship, texts you in the middle of the day to say she loves you, or is fully uninhibited with you behind closed doors

Eeek! You'll just make him feel worse!

Then I'll have a new body, new home and money will not matter.
And, you have heard here that there's no sex in heaven, therefore, why dating? I don't know. Why will there be eating? Will we need to eat? Why will their be visions of visual beauty or beautiful music to bless our ears? Why anything sensual at all?

Sensuality is not an evil thing. It's its overindulgence that's evil.

We do not know what God has in store for us. What I can tell you is something that... I think it was Franklin Graham?? said to Sean Hannity, when he asked him that question, 'Is there sex in Heaven?'. His response? Not unless there's something better.

Awesome answer. So, I would not listen to those here who get dogmatic about it and are so spiritual that sex means nothing to them. I'm not that spiritual, and I hope for the same thing you do. And, with other types of physical enjoyment in heaven, why not that or something "graduated" to a higher level in an idyllic environment?

Well, that was certainly not my intent. And, I'm widowed, so, like him, I'm desiring this too.
Oh, I'm glad you had good memories with her though!

I think if you focus on God, that desire seems to go away. I don't know. That's what happens to me. *Shrug*

I know what Jude says, but that does not erase the idea they desired physical relationships.

If it was wrong for women to have sex with immortal angels on the earth, then maybe you should stay away from mortal women on the earth if you are immortal. I am hoping something in our desires change when we are transformed to be like Christ. My understanding is that struggles with the flesh are for this age.

There is probably some country where a mature white man could find a young woman to marry here in this age, maybe some tribe in Africa. I think this happens to some extent in the Philippines, too. If the US dating market isn't working for you, you could look overseas. Now, I married in my late 20s, and I didn't go overseas just to get married. I was working overseas. But I married an Indonesian woman, and a lot of women there are kind of traditional when it comes to marriage-- wanting to take good care of the household, etc. It's a majority Muslim country but there are also millions of Christians.

banal insipid senseless irreverent specious speculation.
Exactly. Took the words right out of my mouth. (y) I would only add supercalafragilisticexpealodicious. (The pellchecker really loved that one.)

How do you know that? You've never been to heaven, You have no clue what people do there. You would have everyone in heaven neutered.
Do you hope to have boy parts or girl parts?

The desire to remarry goes away?? Then no Christian should ever get married because we're all supposed to focus on Christ.
