I do not believe there are hidden messages in the Bible but God plainly told us all things.

If God covered all there is to know then why hidden messages.

Someone will say to prove God's word is true but our salvation is based on faith so why have hidden messages.

God said produce your cause, bring forth your strong reasons, and prove that your religion, and god is true by telling the end from the beginning which He said no person will be able to do that which is how He proves His word is true and He is the true God.

God told us the whole history of mankind from Adam and Eve to the beast kingdom when He puts down sin, and the saints being at the New Jerusalem for eternity.

God showed us all 8 kingdoms on Earth starting with Egypt, and ending with the beast kingdom.

God warns us of the new age movement that shall deceive the world, and they will follow the New Age Christ, antichrist.

Why would God tell us of Obama, or Biden, or Saddam Hussein, and if He wanted to do that then He would of told us plainly of it.

We do not need to know anything but what the Bible already told us and that is sufficient.

It is like people saying Jesus is coming on this date and it does not happen which stop doing that for He said you will not know so it would not be given to by God so where did you come up with that date.

It is like Mary Baxter that said she visited hell and wrote a book detailing it.

And many people that said they visited hell and heaven but it is not true.

God already told us what hell is like which is hot and dark so there does not have to be anybody else to tell us about hell.

And John described heaven so no one else has to tell us about it.

Some people might want to get attention, and sell books.

I read on a website someone say they are the Word of God, and another person they are one of the 144,000 people in the book of Revelation, and another person they are one of the 2 witnesses, and another person they are the 3rd eagle of the apocalypse, and co-prophet of the end times.

None of that is true.

And many people claiming they are a prophet, and greatly used by God for the purpose of attention, and try to convince people they are special.

But that is human nature wanting attention, and to try to convince people they are special.

But some people actually believe the falsehood which they could be motivated by arrogance although not realizing it for they would not want to admit but believe in their falsehood.
Even if we did have prophecies in the bible about things you said, we would still need faith that 1. God is good and 2, that it wasn't Satan who wrote the bible. Those who have faith in God still need faith in scripture, otherwise why would you believe the bible and not Quran?

Also, you DON'T know what's true or not, so why are you claiming "none of that is true" where is your proof?

Also, who are you to tell God that divine messages must be in original language? That's the whole point, anyone writing the original language could theoretically encode secret messages, but only God can do it in a future translation, using language that didn't exist at the time.
Okay, I'm just gonna ask. Are you King James only?

No, I'm not confused at all.... if you are looking for hidden prophecy in numbers, that's numerology....
In that case Daniel used numerology in his prophecy of 70 weeks to predict the first coming of Jesus (Daniel 9:24-27 )

You are obviously confusing numerology with prophecy.

I don't know. Do you? You can't really say it's a "secret message" without doing a large number of experiments with other totally unrelated words. Then you might be able to say if it's more than chance. I actually did the same test you did with the online version of the software and got a much lower number. I think it was 200 something.
What website did you use?

I still use other versions to get a more clear picture of the translation, but after seeing so many complex formulas in the KJV, but not other versions, I'm much more tempted to become KJV only.

https://webchannel.purebiblesearch.com/

My memory was off a little but the numbers are still much lower than yours. Here's a picture of the results I got. Can you explain where you're getting the numbers that show that all three of these words are found the exact number of times? If Ishmaelite only got one hit, how can it have the same number of occurrences as "false" or "prophet?"

You're not using all variations of the words.

Also, this is the exact same one I use - King James Pure Bible Search. The point is that all variation of those 3 words that are applicable to Muhammad, when combined add up to his death and birth year.

Great idea. I don't see how God Could Even Place "over 100 Inconsistent, ever-changing" versions/manuscripts "Above All His Holy Name" (Psalms 138:2 KJV),
do you?

Amen.

Okay, I see what you're saying. Unfortunately the exact year of Muhammed's birth is uncertain. It's traditionally accepted as 570, but no one knows exactly. He died in 632 which would put your calculations off by one year.

I wonder how many word combinations could be fed into the search to come up with virtually any number a person wanted?

Recently I came across this video on Youtube where the guy uses software to count number of occurrences of certain words in the bible and the King James version is just FILLED completely with all kinds of secret messages.

I downloaded the software (King James Pure Bible Search) and went to work... so far I found prophet Muhammad's birth and death year:oops:

I looked up all occurrences and variations of the words false, prophet and Ishmaelite. I got 633 occurences in 570 verses.

false|falsely|falsehood
prophet|prophet's|prophets|
ishmaelite|ishmael|ishmael's|ishmaelites

Now I'm wondering if it's just a coincidence/confirmation bias.

The guy's Youtube channel has a lot of other videos with countless other encoded formulas that make it just about impossible to dismiss the whole thing as coincidence or conspiracy.
A concordance....not the one in the column inside your Bible but an exhaustive concordance bought as a textbook already has this.

He is just a showman....not a prophet.

Good catch. I unchecked "colophons" and "superscriptions" which are not part of the bible message and now it's at 632.

Do your "many word combinations" make sense? Is there is specific message they are conveying?

He is a false prophet, but how would you know for sure? What proof do you have that Bible is the word of God and not the Quran?

I'm just saying if a person played with it long enough they could manipulate it to say whatever they wanted; as you just proved with your "adjustments."

My "adjustment" was to exclude everything that 's not part of the actual bible message. I challenge you to manipulate it and come up with a false prophecy of some sort. I doubt it's going to be anything like the formulas in the video I posted or the simple and clear prophecy about a false prophet Ishmaelite.

I don't have the time to waste on such nonsense. Now that I understand what this is, I've lost all interest.

The Bible is a miracle all by itself.

66 books with 40+ authors that perfectly agree written over a period of over 1500 years.

Two posters on this forum have never agreed as perfectly as scriptures do. But to get over 40 posters to agree?

Even Tolkien has errors in his Lord of the Ring trilogy....
Every single author has difficulties with story line conflicts within their books.

And yet we have four gospels that agree perfectly....any conflicts are actually paradoxes that reveal more truths.

The Koran is a jumble of crap borrowed from every region known when it was written around 60AD. It reads literally like an instruction manual put through a paper shredder. It can mean anything you want it to mean.

So in the testing of reliability....
We have geographical evidence, archeological evidence, historical evidence, and internal evidence of scripture accuracy and reliability and a Miracle. The Koran doesn't come even remotely close.

Then don't make baseless claims that you don't have desire or ability of proving.

I like this. Well one.. I don't know how to explain it but one is just dead, there is nothing there. Its like reading some random book or magazine. I heard this preacher once say (I take it with a grain of salt yet I believe it) Christ shows up and the man tried to lol hide his magazines where were National Geographic. He said Christ walked over picked one up went through it so fast and said "there is no life in it". That is the difference between Quran and the bible.

As for secret messages in the bible I keep playing it backwards and..nothing. Any one else get something? lol just playing.

I think there is something to secret messages but.. never truly looked into it

Ah true, if only that was enough to convince people:cautious:
