Obviously you either do not read what is said, or just don't care. I've made no "mistake" as you falsely assert. It is you who are making mistakes and going off on some sort of ignorant, baseless rant. :)
And you smile after posting that stupidly.
I read you. I don't give one care if you don't like what I had to say about how you think.
Be gone. Ur truth is not found in scripture.

Actually what I said is completely biblical.

Are you speaking of Deuteronomy 1:17?

If you are, that context has nothing at all to do with the context of this debate, thread, or subject.

You're clueless as to what you're talking about but I was aware of this from other posts you've made on this site.

Oh, and I'm an actual preacher: Reformed Baptist.
Really? What church and in what town? If so you'd not be ashamed to share that. Otherwise, no one has any cause to believe you. Especially how you post. No preacher worth the tuition spent to acquire their doctorate would speak as you do knowing when they die they'll answer to a higher standard for their behaviors as emissaries of the word of The Word.

I'm not the one that's clueless here.
Reformed Baptist? Yes, I am absolutely not the one that is clueless here.

I feel sorry for you, you're full of spite, and frankly are hateful and filled with false accusations. You've probably been on here before under another moniker.

I'm going to give you some advice, then will simply ignore what you say in the future. Not put you on ignore, just ignore you.

Here is the advice: You're not certain of your spiritual status before God according to your profile. For this very reason you should refrain from 1) Arguing theology on a forum, or any where. 2) Attempting to disseminate truths of Scripture. 3) Offering rebukes with baseless, hateful, spiteful and false accusations.

You've got the cart before the horse.

Now, I'll allow you to get your last word in, but first, when you come to repentance and faith in Christ saving you, I'll be glad to listen to you in your new nature, 2 Corinthians 5:17.

the above is a link to a gay welcoming Church.

I post it neither as an endorsement nor the opposite.

I think somewhere in the Gospels it talks about it's not good to judge a person before you hear what he has to say.

the preacher was saying something about wanting the people in the congregation to hear something from God that morning.

something I heard that I'd never thought of before was that apparently in UCC churches, probably other liturgical churches such as Catholic or Episcopal, the book they read the gospel out of is left open after the reading.
he talks about this at about 33:45
he says that the symbolizes that God is still speaking to his people. an interesting thought, I thought.

No, you aren't a real preacher then. Thank you. That's what I thought. That's a particularly heinous sinful lie. To falsely claim ones self as a minister and actually not have a clue, as is evidenced by lack of knowledge of the disciplines of study as you have done. And to also demonstrate the fallen demeanor rather than the one that should be upright as a leader under God's service. But God knows where you are. And what you're doing.

And now, so do we.

It is true that we are not to judge; however it is our responsibility to witness to keep others from going to hell. The Bible is very clear that no homosexual or liar, etc will enter the kingdom of heaven. We have become too politically correct.

I do agree there is a gay agenda. And yes, its activists will avail themselves of any opportunity to push that agenda.
Really, and this is just my take on it, I haven't researched the history as pertains. I think the agenda got motivated when the homosexual community claimed the rainbow as its community flag without a push back from Christians. Regardless of the excuse the "founder" of that flag used for his choosing those colors for their identity emblem.

After that I think the community of zealous activists figured they could do anything. There's a book that was written by two homosexual lawyers back in the 90's I think it was. "After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays" .
When small screen television writers who were gay got wind of that that's when we started, if you're old enough to remember these shows, seeing homosexual characters brought to TV. Like, "Soap", and its character played by Billy Crystal, Jody Dallas. Then there was the introduction of cross dressers. That would be Tom Hanks and his co-star in, Bosom Buddies.
And lots of others along the way so as to arrive where we are now.
With cable programs upholding of all things life in a woman' prison. "Orange Is The New Black". Where not only are there openly gay women but there's a Transsexual male who dresses as a woman. But notice? Most of those keep their package? They don't feel all that female on the inside do they.

The world is falling more and more because now we've evolved to a point where the closet is being cleaned and prepared for Christians. And the key holders are the damned.

But that doesn't mean gays should never be allowed to enter church. No open displays of course. We can still throw them out if that happens so that they don't take over in that regard. They have no inviolable rights in a church after all. If the separation clause can let freak militant atheists to threaten school kids if they dare think to thank God during their graduation speech, let it hold for the Christian pastor that tells two french kissing men daring the church to act when he throws them out on their oft used backside.

My point about church is the church structure should be welcoming of anyone sincere of heart seeking to hear God's word preached.
Besides, when encountering those aforementioned idiots that would keep gays out by barring the door, there arrives this dumbfounded glazed look in their eye when I ask them how they'd identify who was gay when they were standing on the steps approaching the church door?
Is there a scarlet H letter on the forehead that appears to only those with the discerning baptized eye?

If God knows the heart how can any human who claims to know God claim they're sure God didn't send that homosexual of sincere intent to sit and listen to the word?
sounds like we are, having caught up with each other's post, in agreement

I recall Degeneres as being really a pivotal point with regards to programming. she's likeable so people like her

very helpful to the end results

it seems you can't watch much these days without some gays kissing or similar

honestly if I didn't know better. I would wonder why people get upset. after all, it's just their 'preference' but then you see videos...actually I believe it was you who posted it...about males dressing up as women and young children being exposed to that in the classroom

it's a descent into accepting what God is against through manipulation, a shift away from preaching about sin or even recognizing the word and substituting 'mistake' and seduction presented with emotional speeches about how they are just like everyone else

well they are not

For safety reasons really. To protect the flock. Especially the ones who cant protect themselves...
It's not protection it's prevention. Anyone desires to enter the house of the Lord should be welcomed with open arms, it was never our church or our house it was always his so we do not have the authorization to decide who is welcome or not. You never know if a heart will be changed upon entering this house and denying a person like that.... You might as well be denying them salvation

Was it People magazine? When Ellen D. came out on their cover with the banner, "Yep! I'm Gay!" ?
Someone should have spoofed the cover with, no kidding! That's like Rosie O'Donnell thinking everyone believed she was straight with her fake fixation for Tom Cruise. The joke when she had her own show before her enormous meltdown in the boardroom of the network one day, being that both she and TC were/are gay.

But it's like the studies into programming say about how the gay agenda overtook TV. Even commercials now feature gay couples. But not as frequently you notice as mixed race? Both caused quite a stir in the demographic when those images were first tested in the public venue. But now you'll see mixed race more than the gay. And if it is gay imagery in a commercial the likelihood of that image being two women more so than men. Because two gay men and the resulting imagery their union conveys to heterosexual male consumers is threatening. As opposed to that of two women which is more often deemed sexy by sexually active het-males.

I knew a network exec once , he's since died of AIDS, who had a custom made bumper sticker on his BMW that featured a huge television on one side. On the other side was the message, WHY DO YOU THINK WE CALL IT PROGRAMMING?

Now that sticker is in the public market place. An likely many just don't get it.

I dare say there would be quite a fight were that right to be attacked by the agenda driven. At least I pray so. In the world of today with liberal Christians aplenty one may be surprised.

Look, we know we are to love people. That's not even up for debate. We know that Truth without Love is brutality, but we ALSO know Love without Truth is hypocrisy. I watched almost all the video, and I can attest that it is worse than a blatantly satanic church!

It's important to see just exactly what a TRUE apostate church looks like. I actually felt sick listening to the deception these people are peddling. Even the songs were disturbing. Many truly itching ears.

I think the Greek phrase here is interesting from John 7:51

παρ’ αὐτοῦ καὶ

the idea I think is first hears him
from him and
knows what he is doing.
If a person is a practicing and professing homosexual he is already heard.
How ever that is in reference to a person accused of breaking the law is to be brought before a judge and court of law to give a defense or answer his accuser. To determine whether what you were doing is what you are accused of.
If a person is an open professing,
practicing homosexual they are what they are. You might have to hear a person if they are accused of being a closeted or secret homosexual. They may also be redeemed and still struggling in that case, hear them with compassion. Because we all struggle with temptation...well I do anyway; not with this sin but my own sin which is also sin. I don't know of a sin that is anymore or less destructive than any other sin. I do know we are called to renounce sin and repent of it, and this I do yet I find that I often fail to overcome temptation. I wish that I did not fail but yet still do. Especially when the temptation is readily available, and I am weakened by exhaustion, hunger, loneliness, not being prepared by praying and studying and maintaining a Christian fellowship.

it should be noted that the United Church, of which the church in the video is one, allows homosexuals to participate but do not ordain them however they do 'affirm' them
An openly practicing homosexual is the head of the United Church (of Canada), and they do ordain gay people...

Rev. Gary Paterson of St Andrew’s-Wesley United Church in downtown Vancouver was elected from a field of 15 nominees on August 16 (2012) to become the first openly homosexual leader of a major Christian denomination in Canada.

Paterson was one of three openly homosexual candidates for the moderator’s job...

Paterson acknowledged that his open homosexuality and same-sex “marriage” to Rev Tim Stevenson, another United Church minister, as well as the fact that he has three daughters from his first marriage, would be seen by many to be “problematic,” but added that his sexual orientation was a non-issue to the voting members at the United Church General Council. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/u...irst-openly-gay-leader-of-a-major-christian-d

In 1992, Tim Stevenson became the first openly gay man to be ordained as a minister by the United Church.

protection of the flock is very very much needed

a real overseer is one who can protect and still offer the gospel

open arms is not very wise

much of the NT was written to correct error and to warn of wolves

Could that be any more obvious than, of course gotta love the classification that forewarns the astute viewer, "reality TV"?
It's like pro-wrestling wasn't bad enough so as to be fake, yet requiring true stamina and athleticism, while being entirely scripted. Now we have people "living" their lives so that other people can be their voyeurs.

And in the process make the watched one's rich for what they freely demonstrate first as a willingness to sign on the contract that says, everything they do that's recorded will be edited to produce maximum dramatic somatic responses in the demographic their particular show is programmed to provoke.
That's why when I attended that TV exec's funeral, the one I mentioned, I had my own custom made bumper sticker on the back of my classic Camaro. On one side was the identical TV that was on his. And on the other were the words, "SHOOT YOUR TELEVISION!READ A BOOK!"
He'd have appreciated the humor. :giggle: I know that because at the memorial in his small home town there was the hearse, and behind it was a tiny local company, that his cousin owned, moving van. Across the back was a banner he'd ordered when he knew the end was really near that read: "TAKING IT WITH ME!"

I rolled all the way to the ocean where we released his ashes.
A hearse carrying an urn. Gotta love that. Why? Because he could afford it. :p Funny till the day he died and beyond.
God bless and rest him to peace.
