Not here, long ago, mid 80`s. I went to one of their churches a few times. Read a book they gave me called "things that differ."
When I was a young man I explored a lot of different churches.
I believe you are here ^ (in the bold) referring to the "mid-acts" position (or one of the others that speak to a LATER starting of the Church, like Acts 9, etc), whereas I had stated that "Pauline Dispensationalists" believe the Church started in Acts 2 (not the later options that others believe, including the book you reference above [from what I recall]).

See what I'm saying?

How about this one? James 4 one of my favorites.

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
That’s a good one, one I like

Proverbs 28:1
The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

I appriciate your post, I needed something intelligent to respond to. Forgive my snarkyness but i`m getting fed up. I`m not used to people having such issue with scriptures anymore.

There is one everlasting gospel according to the book of Revelation. In Galatians 7:2 the word gospel appears twice each is assigned to a different Apostle presiding over two distinct groups who led very different lifestyles. 1 + 1 = 2 which is why I said the number 2

The Gosple of Peter is gospel of the Kingdom as preached by Jesus. Jesus taught to keep the law and it carried over into Peter`s preaching which is why you see Peter in Acts 10 still keeping the law. You cannot find a verse in which Christ says to quit the Law.

Paul spent 3 years in the desert with Jesus where he recieved his gospel. Paul`s Gospel is the amended version of Jesus gospel that contains knowledge/doctrine that had not previously been made known.

The Messianic Jew side is a modern day/end time equilivant to Peter`s churches. Prophetically a very important development.
As a Gentle you not called to sojourne in spite of what the Hebrew Root cult says. Don`t get the two mixed up. Thx :)
People here are generally hostile towards the view that there is a distinction between the Gospel of the Kingdom, and the Gospel of Grace, the latter was entrusted to the Apostle Paul.

You seem to hold on to that distinction?

Ok, I was aware of varience in their beliefs. The church I visited was an Acts 9 church.

People are not sick of scripture, we are unbelievers in your interpretation of scripture.

You need to stop complaining about peoples attitude, when you a quite a large on yourself.

Once again, practice what you preach, your attitude is what got so many peopl calling you out, much more than your belief.

I did create this thread and the topics in it.
Its still a discussion forum, which means anyone who is a member has the right to come into your thread and share their view, and try to explain and discuss with you why they disagree if they do.

Hey also have the right not to be harassed by you just because your offended by their disagreement

People here are hostile to anything that doesn`t fit common watered down American theology.

The problem with saying there is no distintion is that you cannot deal with Acts chapters 10 or 21. The teaching of Paul conflicts with the teaching of Christ unless you understand that Jesus amended the gospel when he was with Paul in the desert for 3 years.

Several of you get together and a pack mentality takes over. You insult me, mock me, claim I don`t understand the Bible etc.
But at the end of the day you have proved nothing. You cannot find a place in the Bible where Jesus told His followers to stop following the Law and the evidence seen in the book of Acts shows that they never stopped following it.

You don`t like it, it makes you mad because it doesn`t fit the theology you`ve been fed.You resort to railing against me because none of you can prove your argument against it. Split hairs because I called it two gospels for clarification purposes nevermind what Galatians 2:7 said  that`s the best you can do.

oh ricky ricky what are we going to do with you ... you little wearer of the cloth of wikination

I for one posted an entire section of scripture from Galatians and you called it a rant because I pointed out what was being said

others have also posted scripture

however do you get your head through normal sized doorways?
Same with the “paul called it his gospel” line, scripture was posted which showed paul called it gods, christs, the gospel, of peace etc etc, and he did not even acknowldge it, then says we have issues with scripture

I dunno what that rant is supposed to mean but I don`t think you are capable of helping anyone. Your demeaner suggests you are unregenerate. Nice fit for several of your peers.
You have no right to talk when you do not practice what you preach.

People spoke to you kindly up until the point you did not like that they kept disagreeing with you, then you came out swinging

Don”t expect people to treat you with respect when you will not do that yourself,

I posted this earlier but no takers but the thread did get swamped by trolls so I`ll try again.

When will this prophecy be fulfilled?

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

It`s from Zechariah 14 if that helps.
It is future

Future when Israel is restored. (Hence why this is being done, because once again, it is done to teach a point and bring to remembrance,

What did God want them to remember?

Lev 23 that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.’ ”

Can you explain the 2? And why this really makes a difference? I am just curious, being a dispensational all my life i have never heard of this

Your hostile to anyone who does not fit your theology,

Are you ever going to sit and discuss the word with anyone, or continue to attack and belittle anyone who has the nerve to disagree with you?

I am sorry to have to continue to call you out, but people like you irritate Me, and you give God and his church a bad name, the world looks at you doing what you do, and has to ask itself, what do i need to come to that for, is it really worth it?

Paul did not conflict with christ, thats your view, and a view of so many people who want to discredit paul, because they do not like he words or his gospel (since most of his words were directed to false jewish teachers trying to pervert the church)

if paul conflicted with christ, He taught a different gospel, and he is to be anathema’d, and his word should not be scripture

There’s that saying let the wheat and tares grow together.
Amen

One thing that strengthens us i believe is the opposition, when we study and actually get the root of what they are saying, we either learn from it because they are correct, ot are strengthened in our own view, because we see the have no real root, it is based on something not true. Which strengthens us

Even in CC in my few years here, i have experiences both, i have been shown some if my beliefs are in error, and i have had other of my beliefs to still stand strong.

Indeed it is future. They are to remember the "feast of tabernacles" which is part of Moses Law.

People who believe we should make a distinction between those 2 gospels are generally dispensationalist in their reading of the Bible, whether Acts 2 or mid Acts.

It is very interesting that you reject being deemed as one, and yet you believe in that distinction. Why is that the case? Who do you learn this distinction from?

You make some good points, I guess it’s best to be patient for a truth can come from the oddest of places.

Philippians 4

11I am not saying this out of need, for I have learned to be content regardless of my circumstances. 12I know how to live humbly, and I know how to abound. I am accustomed to any and every situation—to being filled and being hungry, to having plenty and having need.

Yes, THEY (Isreal) When they are BACK IN THEIR LAND, and again being blessed by God for obedience

Nothing says it is to be followed today, or that people will lose their salvation or blessing if they do not keep it.

I think it`s sad that you are more interested in finding a label to put on me then in answering the challenge of the scriptures. The only distinction I have talked about is Law keeping.
