I have no need for a written Law as long as the Holy Spirits is convicting me. Still, I do think that the
whole of the Mosaic Law(s) can help me as a guide... a better than average guide than some moral
principles set forth by sociologists might.
I agree with what you said about the Holy Spirit convicting me.
I see the moral Law summed up as LOVE. Then expanded as love for God and Love for our neighbour, then expanded as the 10 commandments, then expanded as Jesus explained them on the mount.

They are spiritual and were ment to to writen on our hearts as principles of love.
But because of the hardness of Israels hearts and ours God gave them a 10 commitments to help us understand them.

The Holy Spirit convicts us when we realize something is wrong.

For example...if there was nothing in the bible about graven images, and people were selling them i wouldn't have any reason not to buy one or two.

But because God is plain about not having them I'm convicted (reminded by the Spirit) not to have them.

Rom 7:7-9
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

Many people throw the law away and say the moral law was nailed to the cross. This means they can sin and not be judged by the law.

It is true that the cerimonial laws were nailed to the cross. And that the penalty for sinning was paid in full by Jesus on the cross.
But sin is still sin.
We should choose to not sin because we love Jesus.
Sin is defined by the Law.
And much debate is about what the law is that defines sin..

Sin has been the same from the beginning and Gods standard of righteousness does not change.

Mat 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

And you still didn't post the two commandments Jesus gave that he said to keep "if you love him".....I'm wondering if you even know what they are.

The cost of being a follower of Jesus is very high...the commandments ARE grevious. You can claim they are not but that doesn't make it so.

Count the cost....it's not something as cheap as money. And if you can't/don't want to pay ....then don't begin the journey.

Besides....Modern Sunday is the Sabbath of old. Constantine changed the name of the days of the week. The Levitical council closed before it could come to a vote. But they had the proof and the correct calendar to prove it..

Maybe you should study a bit more when dealing with something as important as an immortal lifespan. I wouldn't ever rely upon one person or group to tell me...I'm kinda peculiar in that way.
Jesus gave many commands.

Which 2 you are referring to I'm not certain.
I thought it was..
Mat 22:37-40 KJV 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

But Jesus also said.
Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Mat 16: 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

When it comes to which day is the seventh, much research has been done.

The catholic church declaire that they changed the day as a sign of their devine authority. And they also outlawed the bible so people counted read the truth .
You can believe them or the bible.

You have said so much, its hard to reply to each point...

I'll try.

Moses didn't give the 10 commandments, God did. God spoke them and wrote them down.
God gave moses the cerimonial laws and moses wrote them down.
Because of the hardness of their hearts God set it up that way. But we are told that the laws that were ADDED BECAUSE OF TRANSGRESSION, would end with Christ.

I totally agree. But that is not every law in the old testament.

Is it a sin to steal today?
Can i lie and believe its okay?

I agree with you and the bible verses about faith being our righteousness not works of the law.

Because the law reveals our sin we are all lost when it comes to working our way to Heaven. But Jesus obeyed it perfectly and wants to give us the perfect robe of righteousness. So by faith and faith alone we can be perfect.

Do you stop here...? Many stop at this point.

The bible tells me that as a child of Christ i should act like one.

I shouldn't sin because of grace, not break the law because of faith, not act selfishly and disobediently because Jesus has paid the price.

1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Rom 6:13, 14,
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Love for Jesus will motivate a desire to obey.

You'll not obey if you don't know what is right or wrong.

If the law is thrown away what defines good and bad?

Jesus... yes and Jesus obeyed the law, He kept the sabbath perfectly, He never lied, He obeyed the Spirit. Jesus is the perfect example of obeying the law.

There is a difference between keeping the moral law to be saved, and keeping it because you are saved.
“we are told that the laws that were ADDED BECAUSE OF TRANSGRESSION, would end with Christ.”

Yeah it worked like this

“And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Man commits the first murder well before the Ten Commandments we’re given at Sinai.

so later God then adds this because of that sin committed by mankind he then needs to make this law

“And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

thats where this commandment came in hundreds of years later

Thou shalt not kill.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that commandment came because man started killing each other.

at he first commandment “have no other Gods make no heaven images “

That came because they spent 400 years in the most idolatrous nation on earth at the time ancient Egypt who worshipped things from cats , to alligators , tonthe sun tonthe stars to pharoah a man and made grace. Images everywhere so God delivered them out that and commanded them “ don’t make any images of God I’m the only God worship only me “

she wouldn’t have ever had to say that if idolatry wasn’t in the world can you understand what I’m saying ?

as mankind became wicked like this

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

At here came a need for God to tell those kind of people what not to do

a don’t make any other Gods is his response to worshipping of false gods , don’t kill is his response to man killing each other , don’t commit adultery is his response to men conmiting adultery , don’t cover is a response to man lusting by thier flesh for the evil things , don’t lie his response to mankind lying and deceiving one another , ect

a you cannot seperate what’s written in Moses book it’s one law founded on those anti commandments “ don’t do this evil thing “ “ don’t do this evil thing “ ect

If no one ever killed anyone the commandment Thou shalt not kill would never have been spoken it is a response to sin, Gods answer to wicked mankind in other words the law is for these people

“knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Why is it for those people and not righteous people ? Because it’s a response tonthe wickedness of mankind and our evil deeds we did before the law was ever given from Sinai to those people who didn’t have atonement

Wherefore then serveth the law?It was added because of transgression,
( man killed so , thou shalt not kill is added in man coveted so thou shalt not covet is added in ect)

till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; ( Jesus is the promised seed see v 16 so until Jesus came )

and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Now a mediator is not a mediator of one,

but God is one.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”

see that part ?

“This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

…And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices By the space of forty years in the wilderness?

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Figures which ye made to worship them: And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:37-38, 41-43, 53‬ ‭KJV‬‬

ordination and disposition of angels authority

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭3:2 ‭KJV‬‬

and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”

moses was the mediator in case you didn’t get that part when they refused to hear it because they said they would die if God said anything else they chose Moses to go hear the law and come tell them

airs also Moses that interceded for them and not Jesus who interceded for us to save us like this pattern of Moses and the children of israel

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: they have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin–; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭32:7-11, 14, 31-32‬ ‭

a they even had a different intercessor who saved them by laying his life on the line a pattern of what Jesus would do later

You're making my point quite clearly....

You either hang on EVERY word Jesus says or you don't love him.
amen jesus and Jesus words alone are Gods eternal Words that will never pass away and if we let his words explain what he’s saying we find things understandable like this confuses many

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

aid Jesus saying the law will never pass away ? Or is he saying I’ve come to fulfill the law and prophets , the law will not change or pass away until I fulfill it ?

does he ever explain what he meant ?

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:44-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The issue becomes how much of Jesus words are we willing to hear and do we avoid hearing what he said ? Or do we seek to hear it because we believe him and want to know what he’s saying ?

“The law and the prophets were until John:

since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

nuses was to fulfill the prophetic nature of the law and prophets regarding the coming messiah who would speak the new covenant law of life

Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, ( in the future he would speak a law himself )and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭51:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Faith requires us to begin to hear we won’t know everything Jesus said at the beginning faith says we will believe what we hear from him and abide in his doctrine as we’re able to hear it and accept it

It’s a progressive process like a seed that grows up into a fruitful bush or tree it takes time and care from the gardener light and space and water to grow

sin this way we aren’t overwhelmed nd made to bear too Much but as we learn we’re able to step in time with what we can grasp and grow over time and patience

When you LOVE someone, it is a delight to do their will.

Is it Jesus's will that we obey the law or not? (By faith out of love)

Some obey for selfish motives like the pharisees in Jesus's day.

Like you said everyword is important.

Think not that i have come to destroy...
Destroy = Transliteration: kataluō
Phonetic: kat-al-oo'-o
Thayer Definition:
to dissolve, disunite
(what has been joined together), to destroy, demolish
metaphorically to overthrow, i.e. render vain, deprive of success, bring to naught, to subvert, overthrow
of institutions, forms of government, LAWS, etc., to deprive of force, annul, abrogate, discard
of travellers, to halt on a journey, to put up, lodge (the figurative expression originating in the circumstance that, to put up for the night, the straps and packs of the beasts of burden are unbound and taken off; or, more correctly from the fact that the traveller's garments, tied up when he is on the journey, are unloosed at it end)
Origin: from G2596 and G3089
TDNT entry: 09:38,5
Part(s) of speech: Verb
Strong's Definition: From G2596 and G3089; to loosen down (disintegrate), that is, (by implication) to demolish (literally or figuratively); specifically (compare G2646) to halt for the night: - destroy, dissolve, be guest, lodge, come to nought, overthrow, throw down.

These are what Jesus said He did not to do to the law.
Not destroy, not overthrow, not come to nought, not dicard, not abrogate, not deprive of force.

But many say UNTIL He fulfills it. When Jesus said "till all be fulfilled" was He talking about the cross or all the plan of salvation?

If you take all the words,
"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Heaven and earth have not past away.

And if you study the old testament prophesy and all has been fulfilled yet.

Jesus gave the 10 commandments and repeats all of them by action or word.
He even said keep the commandments referring to the 10.
Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

I get what you're saying and have a lot of respect for those that believe that... indeed I've wrestled with it too.
But I don't think that it's clear that Jesus was referring to the 10 Commandments there... so I side with Him
referring to the commandments to love God and others. And in so doing, we gladly consider the 10 Commandments.

"The young man said to Him, 'All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?' Jesus said to him, 'If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.' " Matthew 19:20-21

The young man said he had kept all those commandments from his youth, yet Jesus told him it wasn't enough. If he wanted to be perfect he needed to sell out and follow Him. Just keeping commandments isn't good enough; it was never good enough. That's why the old covenant was replaced by the new covenant—including the ten commandments.

Obviously we are law breakers, if anyone could obey the law, then they are saved.

Israel proved that the law could not be obeyed.

Jesus also introduced thought crime into the equation which guarantees no one ever obeyed the law.

Jesus did not sacrifice Himself for good and obedient people, rather He died for wicked people.

There are more than one set of commandments in the New Testament.

Be careful which set you choose.

In Matthew 19 after the rick young ruler walked away. The apostles asked Jesus who could be saved?

It's the obvious question to ask. They were shocked.

Does obedience to the ten commandments actually count for anything?

Not according to Matthew 19.

You started the quote from Jesus when he gave TWO new commandments...but you don't know them or care a thing about them. John thought it important enough to write them and God shed the blood of his favorite people to ensure you could read what John wrote. But for whatever reasons you choose to discount Jesus's words and cut, slice and dice God's words to suit YOUR desires and wants instead of God's.

Like you said everyword is important.

And if you study the old testament prophesy and all has been fulfilled yet.
a yeah now try not interpreting anything and let what the lord said be true .

“And if you study the old testament prophesy and all has been fulfilled yet.”

“thou shalt not kill “

thats not something thats ever going to be fulfilled because it’s not prophetic things like this are what had to be fulfilled because it’s about the messiah who was coming later it’s prophetic

“But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; ( Moses is speaking ) unto him ye shall hearken;

according to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭18:15-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s something that was to be fulfilled do you know how we know that’s bout Jesus ? And that the prophets were foretelling his coming and the time of the gospel ?

by the revelation of the apostles who were witnessing what Jesus had told them

“For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:22-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s like you didn’t read the scriptures in my post

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. ( that’s Jesus explaining what he was saying to them before )

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:44-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Old Testament os filled with prophecy about the birth , life , miracles , ministry and teachings , judgements , suffering and death , resurrection and ascention to the throne in heaven about Jesus Christ that’s all been fulfilled and so when he sends them out he says

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a i mention of the law right ? And what if there was a group of Christian believers who said “ you still need circumcision and to keep the law “ what would the right understsnding be ?

“But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. ( gentiles never had the law )

Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. and they

( so they wrote a letter to conclude the argument about the law ):

forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; that ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication:

from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:5-7, 10-11, 23-24, 28-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s why Paul writes so much about it
And why the Jews hated Paul and were always trying to kill him

did the law say anything even one word to sinner who was executed and put to death ?

“For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Know ye not, brethren, how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

…Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

For when we were in the flesh,( before baptism see chapter 6v 3) the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:1, 4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I’m not sure how anyone who reads the New Testament can mistake themselves to be of the law of Moses but as I said before it’s not my choice of someone chooses to yoke themself to an unbearable weight designed for this purpose

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Pharisees hated Paul’s doctrine because he was lifting Jesus Christ and the gospel above thier law which was this

“But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones,( the Ten Commandments we’re engraved on stones not Moses writing in his book )

was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:7, 12-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

alive learned through life that’s still true to many people they are still looking at Moses law and being blinded by that which was abolished and it keeps them from accepting the gospel because again it’s so contrary as the other example I gave you “ Moses law says , but I Jesus say this other thing “

In Matthew 19 after the rick young ruler walked away. The apostles asked Jesus who could be saved?

It's the obvious question to ask. They were shocked.

Does obedience to the ten commandments actually count for anything?

Not according to Matthew 19.
Yeah when we look at them like ten rules telling us what not to do as Moses presents were Missing it

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:8-10‬ ‭

if my law says don’t kill . That’s not love . But if my law teaches me to act in love towards others like the gospel does the law is not an issue we need to even look at

The commandments are given to wicked people who refused to repent all along they didn’t know what sin was , and didn’t know what love was

So you gove them rudimentary anti commandments you better not kill or you’ll be put to death , you better not cheat on your spouse or you’ll be out to death you better not worship other gods or you’ll be put to death …..of we need to look at ten “Thou shalt not “ rules engraved on stone in order to treat people right weve definetely missed the gospel and the power of Gods love in us

son the other hand even a person who’s never read the Ten Commandments or even heard there are such a thing , if they follow what Jesus taught and how he taught us to treat other people they will never kill , steal from , chest on , bear false witness against or do any kind of harm to anyone And so the law is fulfilled not because they are looking at ten commands but they believe the gospel and trust in Jesus

we can’t really love people if we’re focused on what we better not do but the gospel turns our focus towards tweeting people right in whatever circumstance I’m not going to harm them so they law is not relevant that tells me “ don’t do that thing you wouldn’t do”

a that’s what you tell the ones who live like that murderer ? Don’t kill , thief ? Don’t steal , liar ? Don’t lie

the gospel ? Love others e same way you love yourself in action and in truth do good for others and you hen won’t need to be chastised about what you better not do

one law is for those who operate by their carnal nature

at he other is for those who receive the spirit of God from Jesus

If you have two children one is always disobeying his parents and harming the other stealing his things punching him always lies you need to teach him not to do those things and can’t keep allowing it or you are harming the other unjustly

and the other child is always doing good for his brother he’s kind and shares and forgives and he is about obeying his parents is honest and when he makes a mistake he admits it to you and doesn’t lie and cover it up as the other

Any good parent is going to speak differently to each it’s going to be different words and instructions
