The pauline only guy in our bible study disrupted again yesterday to blurt out of nowhere " how many of you think Jesus is a king?"
I already knew where he was going.
That was the beginning of the rant on the big "revelation" that Jesus is not king in anyway shape or form.

What a stupid ignorant doctrine.

See that?
That is what they seek. A diminished Jesus
A diminished Jesus? Is He King or Savior? If He's king, where is His throne? Right now, He's seated at the right hand of the Father. There will come a time when He is crowned King, but has that happened yet? What does Scripture say?

I kinda figured Jesus' throne being voided was part of the new improved " revelation"
But since the gospels and other nt books are deported to "inferrior land" Jesus Kingship would naturally follow down the drain.
The Lord showed me several years ago every false doctring carries alongside an impossibility. IOW,the Holy Spirit knew before the error manifested and installed the impossibility in the bible.

Jesus not a king???
You can not possibly believe that on your own.
You were taught that in error.

Again, no proof Scripture. Jesus is my Savior. In the future, He will reign as King.

8 But unto the Son he saith, O God, thy throne is forever [t]and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a scepter of righteousness.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness and [v]hated iniquity. Wherefore God, even thy God, hath [w]anointed thee with the oil of gladness, above thy [x]fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast [y]established the earth, and the heavens are the works of thine hands.
11 They shall perish, but thou dost remain, and they all shall wax old as doth a garment,
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 Unto which also of the Angels said he at any time, Sit at my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Footnotes:

Hebrews 1:1 The first part of the general proposition of this Epistle: the Son of God is indeed that Prophet or teacher, which hath actually now performed that that God after a sort and in shadows signified by his Prophets, and hath fully opened his Father’s will to the world.
Hebrews 1:1 So that the former declaration made by the Prophets was not full, and nothing must be added to this latter.
Hebrews 1:1 Which one Son is God and man.
Hebrews 1:2 The second part of the same proposition: The same Son is appointed by the Father to be our King and Lord, by whom also he made all things, and in whom only he setteth forth his glory, yea and himself also to be beholden of us, who beareth up and sustaineth all things by his will and pleasure

He is seated, with FULL POWER and Glory. Now,currently.
He is king.
Is Davids throne established?
No
Is Jesus King? Yes.

15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

13 [af]These have one mind, and shall give their power and authority unto the beast.
14 These shall fight with the [ag]Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of Lords, and King of Kings: and they that are on his side, called, and chosen, and faithful.

He is king of kings.
The word of God declares it.

12 And his eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns: and he had a name written, that no man knew but himself.
13 And he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and his name is called, THE WORD OF GOD.
14 [r]And the hosts which were in heaven, followed him upon white horses, clothed with fine linen white and pure.
15 And out of his mouth went out a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the heathen: for he shall rule them with a rod of iron, for he it is that treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 [t]And he hath upon his garment, and upon his thigh, a name written, THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
Those verses are hebrews,1 tim,and revelation

He is King in heaven,NOW, AND CROWNED NOW.
the word of God declares it.

As i proved you are wrong.
Part of a huge problem is that in that doctrine are pockets of " condemnation before investigation"
Doctrine,untested,is just some mans thoughts.
Enter God's word.
Not part of it. All of it. That is the key.
Feldick needs ACCOUNTABILITY.
He is flat out wrong.

You guys step in it over and over.
Getting silly.
Rabbit trails.
You guys don't even realize you are diminishing Jesus.
Just assuming he is NOT KING.
Pulling it litterally out of the sky

When Jesus is King He will put an end to all this foolishness on the earth.

Still no Scripture? Do you believe that truth is found in the Scriptures?

I posted many. Directly defeating your view.
Decisively.
He is crowned and King in heaven now.
No question about it.
What verses I posted do you not like?

The thing that blows my mind is how many people, out of ignorance will pit the words of Paul against JESUS and or try to override the words of Paul with JAMES........Jesus had many things to say to his disciples, but they were not yet ready.....THESE are the words of PAUL and as I have said and will say again...the words of Paul are the the words of JESUS (unless noted by Paul himself which he does do)

MANY deny, reject, ignore, overlook, dismiss the absolute truth that Jesus was born, lived and died under the LAW which ratified the NEW Covenant.....HIS words MUST be viewed in LIGHT of this truth and the words of Jesus through PAUL must be viewed in light of this truth.....

Lastly...JAMES and PAUL do not contradict, nor is one or the other teaching that man is justified before GOD by works................boiled down the following is factual...

Paul in Romans teaches a man is justified before GOD by faith without the deeds/works of the law attached
James in James teaches the above faith that justifies before God can be SEEN by MEN based upon our works/deeds

End of story
So if we do not see these works/deeds, we can know that this man is not justified before God. I agree with you.

To say that we must view Jesus's words in the light of this truth, you are preaching the doctrine of "rightly dividing the Word of God". We divide out the words of Jesus because he was under the Law of Moses, and we follow the words of Paul, because he was the preacher of the words of Christ to the gentiles, not under the Law of Moses. Thank you for clarifying your position.

You know that the deeds/works of the Law of Moses will not save a person. But the deeds/works of the Law of Christ will save a person. (Galations 6:2)

The law was given under the levitical priesthood ( moses/Aaron)
The priesthood changed through JTB.
Jesus operated/ministered/died/resurrected under the priesthood of Judah.
That is why it says " the law and the prophets were until John."
So,to say Paul overrides Jesus is simply NOT true.
To " divide out" the words of Jesus is like saying We must take the meat out of the steak.

This "pauline only" is beyond error by emphasis.
It is a tireless controlled sytematic effort to diminish the king.

You are absolutely right. A Pauline only doctrine is next to heresy if you reduce the words of Jesus to a few choice verses that meets your agenda. All of the words of the bible are important to know the true path to salvation, not just Paul's.
