Still waiting for the ones that didn't fail. A lot of grand stories. But why are the hospitals still full? Why did so many people die from COVID? Why do the faith healers avoid people with real problems. Sure, maybe they've cured a few colds or some backaches; I'm waiting for some real healings, not stories.

Hospitals are full because most are clueless by choice and not walking in obedient relationship as He requires of us. His command was to heal, raise, cleanse, preach etc.
Talk with Him, perceive His direction for you and walk it out, these are they who will walk with Him, not merely talk about Him. or merely have a mental assent to Him.

it's simple, have FAITH!

if you've never seen miracles, witnessed God in front of you, or saw things that others even say, we've never seen that before...it happens to me all the time because my Faith is Sold Out without Doubt to my God!

anyone, from the Creation until Now, if they had Faith, they lived a great life of healing, and having their needs met!

this ain't no riddle here: if YOU got FAITH, you will get things done that won't happen for no one else. but, if YOU got no Faith, every Follower of Christ can pray for you and you will NEVER be HEALED!

this ain't some ancient Chinese secret here, it's simply do YOU have FAITH?

all YOU Complainers on these types of thread most definitely DO NOT HAVE FAITH!

why even believe in God, you don't really think anything will happen?
in my opinion, if God don't move in your life due to your Faith, you AIN't got God in your life!

A healed person could be staring a couple of us in the face today and we may never even know. Scientists often try to explain away the supernatural. How is this high profile case not a case for the supernatural healing? All those prayers in the stands were heard for this young man who’s heart stopped on the field. And a miraculous recovery time as well for something that is normally fatal. This happens everyday under our noses and we don’t see it in the lives of everyday average people. It’s the faith of Gods people crying out for Him to act. Dosent even necessarily have to be a “faith healer” but a crowd of believers in earnest prayer. God moves His manifest presence where He wants not bound by human formality and religious traditions and He loves to hear peoples prayer and answer. Prayer is effective and real healing can result of it when done in faith.

That is a very harsh statement , we dont know the lives of most the fellow posters. Do we really know what is in the heart/spirit of another. Many here will post spiritual sounding phrases we have learned pushes buttons. I dont know your heart, although i have a pretty good idea you are a believer.
Where in Scripture do we read Jesus telling His disciples folks will not be healed if they dont have faith?

Mat_9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Then here we do not know anything about the faith of the servant .
Mat 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Mat 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Seems to me the lesson we have of Paul and the thorn in his side kinda fits in to this discussion.

i suffered a Job moment in my life for 18 years. suicide, demon attack, mental anguish, doubt, all to the point i dug my own grave. i laid in it. i never even took a moment of the tens of thousands times suicide entered my mind to think about doing it once. but i dug a grave and lied in it. i lost everything twice. each day i rolled to the edge of the bed and slithered onto the floor and forced myself up. i got black listed. what could happen just happened and happened and happened and happened. but it could only get so close to me. i never saw it like that and just saw the constant onslaught. but i realized, yes, like David wrote, the ARROWS of the Enemy are being shot at him. but like Job, IT could only get so close. IT was only allowed to get so close to me, which was finger tips from touching me. from then on, i saw i was WINNING! it was literally 3 months later the Job Trial vanished. Business, i did not know exist, would just call and say will you do this? finances settled and increased.the more i shared my testimony, later you could see where they were being Blessed by God. so i knew my Purpose. I knew WHO GOD made me to be!

i am not being harsh!
i am opening wounds so some might try how the Bible says to do it!

paul's thorn was to keep him humble. he got to go to heaven and see it. you need humbled after that.

In this context weakness is DEFINITELY physical hence the term "infirmities" was used. A person
who is physically weak is said to be infirm. So there was no need to make this ridiculous response,
since Paul did not have any mental weakness! Sometimes it is better to accept what is posted without
further argument. And then to add "total fabrication" to suggest I am lying is really cheap.
Since Scripture does NOT say what Paul's thorn in the flesh is/was, you claiming that Scripture
does say what it was is a total fabrication on your part. Face up to it, for it is a fact, and it was
"cheap" of you to claim that others were making up their own ideas when their "idea" came from
Scripture itself. You talk of carefully reading what is written and then reject what is actually said.
Kinda like saying
we should not ignore what Scripture says (<= link) but then you ignore what
Scripture says, and make up your own definition which contradicts what Scripture actually says
when you tell us no work was involved when God put Adam in the garden to work it. It is also a
fact that infirmities can be other than physical weaknesses. Paul claimed he was chief among sinners.

Yep, S Wigglesworth is on my top 5 list of preachers/teachers etc I listen to regularly. His wife, who was a Christian speaker even back in the day, taught Wigglesworth how to read with the Bible. That's the only book he ever read and he would not allow any magazines/newspapers in his house. He was so anointed, that people around him would be convicted and seek repentance. So he and F F Bosworth are two of my go to guys to get a spirit-filled teaching as I relax, usually at night.

Was he the one that saw great healings. I can't recall. I have a book by him and another, and I can't think of his name. He saw so many healings that the local newspapers began to do articles on him. Now I'm going to have to go see if I can dig out those books. I need a library, too many books.

If anyone should have been healed, it was the apostle Paul with his physical disability. He prayed for healing three times, yet God would not heal him, but gave him grace to bear the disability instead. Then we have Timothy, who was asked to use wine for his stomach ailments. Paul could have healed him, since Paul had the gift of healing miracles. So healing is not guaranteed to believers, even though during the earthly ministry of Christ, not one person was turned down.
Jesus never said no. Never did He refuse to heal those that came to him. When He died on the cross He provided for our healing. We don't know what Pauls thorn in the flesh was and it was given to make him humble. How many of us have such a healing ministry that we have to be humbled? Exactly, Paul's situation was unique to him.

Well, God's word was inspired by the Holy Spirit and we can trust it; it's more than just stories. I don't trust anyone who makes false claims, which is what faith healers have done consistently. And besides, if no one who came to Jesus failed to be healed, why do so many today fail to get healed when they come to Christ through faith healers? Why not just bypass the healer and go directly to the source?[/QUOTE]

Hell just froze over... RA and I found something we agree on.

How many people know anything about Faith really ------there are 3 kinds of Faith which one heals and can faith alone heal you ------when Jesus says your Faith has healed you ---what did He really mean by that ------

The word Faith is used very lightly --and abused by many ----One says OH YA I have faith ---I am of the Catholic Faith --or the Protestant Faith -----is that really the Faith God talks about ???????

What does Faith Accomplish ????---and is there a Right Faith -?????----can anyone say OH YA I have great Faith and be healed on saying that ????? =----Or I Believe in God and so my Faith should heal me -----

There is much more to Healing than saying I have Faith -------and therefore I can be healed -----in my view

one must actually need to understand it to teach it. and we've had more imposters than those to teach it.

Faith is Belief.

if you have a need, illness, do you believe Jesus is capable of fixing the problem?

if you sincerely without a doubt do, it will get fixed, unless it's a Salvation Issue.
