This award winning, high definition, spectacularly photographed and wonderfully narrated
(by David Attenborough) eight part series called Our Planet, which Netflix has made available
for free on youtube, is truly excellent :) imdb rates it at 9.1, with the bi-line:
One man has seen
more of the natural world than any other. This unique feature documentary is his witness statement.

It was four years in the making :)

Around the world has been catastrophic flooding, dam failures, mudslides, fires and drought. All being blamed on climate change and humans. While I do believe w are to be good stewards of what God gave us, I believe God is punishing the world for their unbelief and sin.

Your thoughts
Although I do agree that burning up the Amazon rain forest and many of the other things we have done do result in ecologic damage including to the atmosphere, much of the damage we are seeing cannot be explained away with Climate change.

For example, I am seeing horrendous destruction in China because of really shoddy sewer system. Roads and buildings are collapsing because of it. That wasn't climate change, that was graft. Chinese officials know that you can't see the sewer system so they skimp there and take their bribes.

The forest fires in California due to a 20 year drought. Now hold on a second, 80% of the water in California goes to agriculture and they have some of the most water intensive crops. For 20 years they robbed the water, that's not climate change, that is criminally negligent behavior.

Another major reason for the fires are things like bark beatles and disease. Good forest management would go in and cut down those trees. Regardless of the cost it would be far less than the cost of these fires.

Long years ago it came out that America had a HAARP program in place. Then it went off line for awhile. Came back 'new and improved'.
Now it is said China also has a similar and supposedly more powerful program like unto HAARP but worse.
As hungry as man has demonstrated ourselves to be for playing god, if true, we've just about accomplished the whole enchilada.
We take life on demand. We start wars in the name of greed, resources exploitation, political one-upmanship. We literally defecate where we eat, which isn't playing God, it's playing the irredeemably stupid card. There are countries that pump treated and untreated raw sewage into the oceans surrounding their country.
And then they gain a revenue stream through a seafood industry. You are what you eat.

If it is true there are array's that can change the weather, and alter human psyches, is it any wonder the world is in the shape it's in?
Over 2000 years of teachings, opportunity for salvation through the leading of the Prince of Peace. And yet, in this century we've arrived at a place wherein we are the most depraved, savage, short sighted, species on the face of this planet. There are exceptions of course, but as a whole the world is screwed. And it is all because of us. The worst most immoral selfish depraved indifferent parasite to ever draw breath.

The best thing that could happen to this planet? Is if we go extinct. And the way we're going, that's possible. Amen.

I don't see the clearly changing weather and patterns as the Wrath of God, but an example of Matthew 24, where Christ claimed in modern wording, [Nature would be a sign to us for what is about to come].

You are correct. These are warning signs of even more severe judgments to come. But the evildoers refuse to believe that God is behind this.

Is God punishing the world itself or just the inhabitants?
The inhabitants, but the rest of creation is collateral damage. Severe drought, bushfires, floods and such impact everything and everyone.

Yeah, somebody does something bad in Florida and God wipes out a village in Ethiopia with a flood. Collateral damage.
