LOL

you said : in your opening of this thread

"A simple thought experiment for those who believe the Earth is of the order of 5,000 years old and who do not believe in evolution:"

YEA!!!!! this is a thread about evolution just as you have made it.
Errr, yes. This thread IS about evolution.

Have you heard of the LAW of Flight?

I call it theory and that was being polite.

Jesus is the Person who spoke the term Saved and salvation in context to HIM being the Only way, truth, and life
IF I want to know what is Christian I must 1. know what the word means = Christ Follower". 2. If I am Following Christ and believe all HE has said then I form my world view ON HIS words.

In contrast the founder of evolution Charles Darwin 1. turned from God to a demonic lie that removed God from being the Creator.

Some would say he too was a Christian... was. IF the founder of evolution denied The very existence of God and created a theory out of the Non-existence of God and then the very foundation of this theory is anti-God.

Now AS FAR AS PUTDOWN'S GO I did notices the sarcasm in your comment as most evolutionists like to do and remember Charles Darwin too was called " Christian" you said :

Gravity is also a theory. Do you not believe that gravity exists?

Yet you had no response to my point of Sir Issac Newton.
I responded to your point about Isaac Newton, which was a non-point.

In post #22 I said:
The 'laws' that you say Newton discovered have since been replaced by our understanding of relativistic motion (Einstein).

I don't like the tone of your question.
"Pretty simply question" feels like you're talking down to me. Please stop, otherwise you will be reported to moderators.

As regards your question, I don't have the answer to that.
Just exposing you false doctrine. Report away.

Agreed. Im just curious how a christian evolutionist would answer. Seems he cant.

How we know, outside the very Witness to Creation itself, God, that Evolution does not align to the Word of God is the difference between continuation and interruption.

In Evolution, once the life origin is evolved, it continues into phase after phase.
But God shows us how Evolution is wrong by Forming man and man is DEAD. Then God Breathes into man's nostril and man becomes life. So God's Creation of man is an Interruption. Evolution never has a moment where it stops and continues to evolve from one phase to the next. So someone claiming to be an Evolutionist Christian and uses the Bible, is proving their own theory to be incorrect.

You're not exposing anything.
In the 16th century the Church would have called people who believed that the Earth is not at the centre of the universe 'false doctrine'.

Have a wonderful and blessed day.

In post #22 I said:
FYI Gravity is not a theory it is a law. the cause as to why we have Gravity is the theory the cause for it. The Theory of General Relativity: Albert Einstein's theory claims that massive objects (like the Earth) cause a distortion in space-time, which is experienced as gravity(the effects) .

Were there such a thing as evolution outside of creation, the culmination of it and all is simple:

2Pe_3:10 (CEV) The day of the Lord's return will surprise us like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a loud noise, and the heat will melt the whole universe. Then the earth and everything on it will be seen for what they are.

Even the Big Boom theory says that when the expanding universe, that is expanding from a center of the original explosion, reaches its optimum, it will implode with a very loud noise and all the elements will be melted..................

I think the theories are simply flesh imitating life, not believable as is what is believed in faith.

With respect, you're going round in circles and playing with words.

What about "microevolution", as some people on this thread seem to accept - is that a theory, in your vocabulary?

one can't accept the theory, yet they can but it is not absolute now is it like a LAW. Right?

Please show where exactly.
I am not going to go back and show you the skeletal record of posts to prove it. Please take it as a theory. BUT please reread post 21.

Please reword as this makes no sense.
Everyone believes in Microevolution because microbes are a multifaceted structure of cells, and cells are the very life substance to all life forms. But what happens in Microevolution is because no structure exists where once a life form exists, those microbes/cells no longer evolve but reproduce itself over and over. It cannot become something different or something new.

This is not true, and is a misunderstanding of evolution.
My comment is not an explanation of evolution, but rather the answer to the question you asked.

If you want to attempt to refute my statements, you will have to provide evidence and/or explanation, not simply, “This is not true”.

With all due respect, the purpose of this thread is to discuss the example given in the original post, not to provide a lesson on elementary biology.
If you wish to expand your understanding of evolution, invest in a book from Amazon.
