yes I think that set of verses is what showed me that the ot is about Christ Jesus I love Isaiah especially it’s like a book about the gospel of the kingdom

there’s a complete account of the gospel in Isaiah and what I found was the other prophets also do the same witness of Christ and the gospel until the scripture turns our mknd and heart to Jesus and e gospel alone

It’s how baptism is said to be about remission of sins and Paul’s several teachings about baptism is always about remission of sin and freedom from its dominion through baptism into Jesus death and into his name ?

These came forth in baptism for remission of sins and receiving the Holy Spirit through believing the gospel corcumsion of the flesh is an pre example of baptism for remission of the sins of the flesh

and also the renewing of his resurrection as we are raised up from the water of remission

Paul’s teachkngs are consistent we died and are buried with Christ in baptism and are raised to a new life by faith in the word of God
