with self-control, if empathetic peoples are moderators, cc.com will see an improvement, but on second thought, BDF can stress like no tomorrow, but hey, do not worry about tomorrow, for each day have enough trouble of it's own

I think I felt the same sadness God would feel when the day of death comes for the lost souls, and have no choice but to honor justice and cast them, into a merciless afterlife
I have heard ppl even use scripture to point to Him delighting in such a thing. That doesn't make sense unless maybe the one casted out is cruel and evil. But even still, I think it never delights Him.

So true, what's worse a heart so emotional that feels out of control, or no feelings at all. Of course, balance...but if you had to choose?
if I can choose? how about a futuristic era, where artificial intelligence can analyze so deep, it can guide us and I might imagine how that might threaten to replace Proverbs 3:5-6 which says that "acknowledge him in all thy ways", instead of the super-computers with insanely huge processing power and shocking accuracy

God rather that people repent than perish

see what the cop say? "Get out of the way, you can't reform",

love to the point where justice (who can lack faith in redemption) have to ask you to "get out of the way", ok, that's too high of a standard but still.

Well it is one thing to pick up on on another in front of you, but another completely different idea and animal in the written presentation of a person and their character. I suppose they call that reading between the lines.

You are quite quick in your thinking and response, I think there is a slight possibility for you to master such a skill and can you imagine that kind and level of acknowledgment. Oh how wise it would be to become that connected.

When it comes to mercy and love extended to others we should always reach for the stars.

Quick release the pressure of all those thoughts coming atcha.
as a recap, what would be a good FAQ for the topic of empathy?

or, in 20 words or less, what is empathy all about?

sometimes when I hear that someone confess that they are a little sociopathic, my reaction would be like "aww", as if it's a human weakness that can be sympathized

I meet person who claimed to have no feelings. However I believe she was deluded because she gave a great imitation of anger when she was not hailed a savior with the solution to everyone's problems but her own.

Her claim to have no feelings allowed her to justify trampling over others feelings without remorse.

I would rather "feell too much" than be numb and uncaring towards the world and others feelings.

Truthfully I believe even sociopaths have feelings, they just choose not to acknowledge them or truly have too many callouses to recognize what feelings they are experiencing.

Sympathy is the ability to see someone in pain or happy and recognize the emotion.

Empathy is the ability to feel the same emotions as another person.

Over-empathy is to feel as if their emotions are actually your own.

Apathy is to not care about anything including yours or others emotions.

thanks for summing up what empathy is

we know it's right to be appreciative

and we should be thankful to God for knowing that being appreciative is right, and we should be thankful to God for the desire to even move toward the right steps

I know more than 20 words but...

Empathy is a gift given, even part of the created human condition. When we realize its existence and power it holds is not our but His, its strength and enhanced awareness can empower and produce an effectual and unifying response and a supportive reaction.
