Yet, eternal salvation has not always been offered.
It was promised in the OT, and the OT receive it in Christ as we do. (Romans 3:25)

Their (OT saints) sins were passed over through faith, kind of a “forebearance” until Christ came and paid the debt in full, theirs and ours.

I agree. It might be better if people just just read the Bible and exegete a passage themselves before consulting a commentary. Or just forget commentaries.
That does not really work either.
Objective research is continually required.

Wrong no one could ever learn salvation if the law taught anyone anything it taught that. Because perfection was required and sacrifice if not. And the author of Hebrews makes it clear the blood sacrifices if the law
Never took away sin

Or just talk to people to see what they believe and not to lump them into some group unless your catholic
Most people I know do not agree with everything their church teaches

That’s a fact. I don’t know if any two people agree on every point. There’s too much to know to know it all

Not one was looking forward to the cross as most seminaries teach.

Those animals sacrifices were provided to forgive the Jews of their sins. Their sins, however, were not washed away. They were in remission.

I think we all make sure we attend a church thats in keeping with what we believe.
Actually I do not agree with everything my church says I have yet to find a perfect church. But that does not excuse us of falsely accusing others because we think they believe something based on what church they go to

Didn’t say they were. But God was covering sins based on what Christ would do just as He covered our sin s based on what Christ has done.

Like eternal said. From Gods perspective not man’s.
