amen brother Enoch did it
“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God
1 must believe that he is,
2 and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Hebrews 11:5-6 KJV
that’s saving faith it’s what Jesus offers the same that Enoch had Jesus offers that faith to anyone willing to believe
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
John 8:51 KJV
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:24
Jesus kept saying it again and again as he was teaching them the kingdom kept saying believe me , what I’m saying is Gods word of eternal life
“For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
John 12:49-50 KJV
Those cherubims were hiding Gods glory but the four gospels in the earth reveal the truth of Gods glory in Christ Jesus the lord
we can now look not to the mosaic law because we have what was before the law when men like Enoch , Noah and Abraham walked with him
“And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”
Genesis 5:24
“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”
Genesis 6:8-9
and we know also Abraham walked with God being named Gods friend and made the father of many nations. But when they died it wasn’t a scary sounding thing ot offered them hope actually
“Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years;
and was gathered to his people.”
Genesis 25:8 KJV
There’s hope and promise at the point of many saints deaths God always was giving them promises beyond this life
“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
Hebrews 11:13-14, 16
That’s the city he promised David for christs kingdom the new Jerusalem we shouldn’t be planning on a cold grave but a glorious place of life when we leave this dying flesh I sure do
