Synergists don't believe in OSAS or that God does all the work to obtain salvation.
You Reformed and all of your Pharisaical Legalese Interpretation are worse than the Jews convened in Sanhedrin.
A den of vipers.

Romans 9:18-24
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God?Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

"But that's not fair..."

😏

Get it through your heads. Creation is not man centered, it's God centered.
AMEN to that, brother! (y)
He's is explaining the Jews and how the Gentiles are being called.
So...since both Jews and Gentiles are called, then both groups are God's elect. I mean...how else could God fulfill his promise to Abraham and make him the [spiritual] father of many nations if he didn't have elect Gentiles?

He did call the Jews while also applying
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that would not see
and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.”

So the Jews are not coming to Jesus like the Gentile who do not have the same condition applied to them.
The fact you pretend to not know this reveals how deep seeded your deception to the truth actually is.

In other words the heretical synergists do not believe that salvation from A-Z is entirely of God -- that God who began his good work will take it to its completion until the day of the Lord (Phil 1:6).

Nor do syngerists believe in the total sufficiency of Christ's work on Cross and what he meant when he said "It is finished" (Jn 19:30); therefore, this is why they must add to Christ's finished work.

Nor do synergists believe that the Good Shepherd is wise enough or powerful enough to make good on his promise that the none of the sheep that the Father has given him will ever perish, and that no one can snatch them from out of his hand or his Father's (Jn 10:28).

Nor do synergists believe that Jesus accomplished his purpose during his first advent which was to destroy the works of the devil (1Jn 3:8) who, as a roaring lion (1Pet 5:8), would be the only enemy strong enough to have any shot at devouring any sheep from the Good Shepherd's flock (1Jn 3:8).

Nor do synergists believe that Christ has overcome world (Jn 16:33) which is precisely why the world will never overcome any of his sheep by virtue our organic identity with Him as his Body.

Nor do synergists believe that Christ, as the embodiment of Truth (Jn 14:6), has set his sheep free from the bondage to sin (Jn 8:32) so that sin will never again be their master (Rom 6:14).

How can synergists say they are not of their father the devil?

What is the difference how Jews and Gentiles come to the Lord and answer his call? Or what condition they were in when called? The only thing that matters is that God's elect from both groups WILL answer the call!

13 not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end.
14 But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.

I have never read if someone is Reformed or Synergist they will go to Hell in the Bible. It appears both idiotic idealism's believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior and only way to the Father equally. Which is the only thing that actually matters. Personally, I see truth's in both views because some of both views can be found in scripture. The rest of the baloney is man's doctrine, not God's.

In fact, there is "No Scripture" that claims God predestined people to Hell. To think that is to put words into God's mouth, which is Idolatry.

Finally, somebody speaking my language 👍

Funny how the ignorant (uneducated) call us pharisees because we use "legalistic sounding words". 🤣 Cracks me up that someone can argue against the doctrine of Grace yet not know the difference between synergism and monergism.

Synergism/synergy is simply a term that means cooperation of two or more parties... Here's an idea for all the synergists, until you understand all the moving parts perhaps you should show a little humility, tread a little lighter. We're not arguing against you personally, we're arguing for truth and because we're fearful for those who share a synergistic spirit with every satanic religion known to man.

As a Jew who went to Synagogue from ages 6 to 13 and had to recite the Torah by memory and understand the Prophets and Psalms.
The usage of Mercy is what best describes Yahweh.

The word “Mercy” appears 296 times in the Tanakh/Old Testament and another 43 times in the New Testament. Mar 15, 2022

Mercy to describe God is used a total of 339 times.

In the Tanakh/Old Testament, "Grace" appears only 20 times and 128 times in the New Testament, as the concept of grace as unmerited favor from God is a central idea of Christianity.

Grace to describe God is used a total of 148 times.

***In different Bible versions these numbers will vary +/- 20 times.***

But the consensus of the Prophets under the instruction Yahweh is that He is Merciful!

Without Paul, Grace, wouldn't even be much of a concept. But for the GENTILES, Paul wanted to show God was indeed Gracious.

Really? Another great insight. But God is allowing all the Jews and all the Gentiles he effectually calls to enter his kingdom. So...there is that.

If the Jews weren't as Paul claims in Corinthians and Romans, and he said it's being done specifically for the GENTILES, if it was not done then all of the Jews would be following Christ. Not just less than 500k of Them of the possible 15.7 million.

Why do you continue to darken this forum with your ignorance? You have deceived yourself into believing that you know the scriptures, but with virtually every post of yours you unwittingly betray just how little you know. For beginners, God's Sovereign Grace is what characterizes the New Covenant. Study the NC promises someday in Jer 31 and Ezek 36.

Secondly, Jesus' ministry differed greatly from Moses, as the Law was given through Moses; but Christ brought something greater: Grace and Truth (Jn 1:17).

Thirdly, God's grace is divine empowerment that guarantees that the elect will never be mastered by sin again (Rom 6:14). For where sin abounded, Grace abounded even much more (Rom 5:20).

Fourthly, Jesus himself is the embodiment of Grace and Truth (Jn 1:14). For whoever the Son sets free shall be free indeed (Jn 8:36).

Mercy can never do what Grace does! You clearly do not understand the difference between the two. Mercy can only withhold from us what we rightly deserve, i.e. eternal punishment; whereas Grace is freely given to the undeserving to positively enrich our lives in ways we haven't even begun to imagine. We get to share in Christ's inheritance. We get to live forever in bodies just like His. We get to live for all eternity in a beautifully Restored Eden that will cover the entire earth. We get to live in "mansions" Christ has prepared for his saints. We get to bask in Christ's glory for all eternity. And these things are just the beginning, for scripture tells us that the rest of what God has prepared has not even entered our minds (1Cor 2:9)!

The fact that you discount or dismiss the inestimable value of God's Sovereign Grace doesn't speak very well of you, sir. Nor do your ongoing disparaging remarks about Christ's chosen apostle's authority. And you still don't understand that when you disparage Paul, you disparage Him who sent him to preach the Gospel to the Roman world.

I will sum up your intelligence level in 1 sentence.

Peter says that according to God's great mercy, we are born again 1 Pet. 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

No Mercy = No Grace!

Grace and mercy are opposite sides of the same coin.
Grace is receiving what you do not deserve.
Mercy is not receiving what you do deserve.

I wonder if the non-elect who go to hell will complain to God for all eternity that they didn't revive enough grace and got too much justice.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

No Mercy = No Grace!
But what you still don't understand is that Mercy does not require God to also give his us Grace! When a judge, for example, is merciful to a convicted criminal and commutes his sentence to something much lighter, should the criminal also expect the judge to have a whole hosts of perks waiting for him in the outside world after he's released from prison? Should the criminal, upon his release, expect for the judge to offer him a suite of rooms in his mansion, access to all the servants in the house, a choice of cars from the garage, total access to all the amenities on the grounds, the power boat moored to the dock on the lake, etc.? Grace goes well beyond Mercy because the former actually bestows gifts (Rom 12:6). Grace gives us gifts that we don't deserve! Moreover, Grace can do something that Mercy cannot: Grace can actually empower us to live godly lives! Our call unto salvation does not come by Mercy, but by Grace! We are not saved by Mercy, but by Grace, etc.

What Peter says makes perfectly good sense, since Mercy is the grounds for Grace. Logically, forgiveness precedes our adoption into the royal family, just as adoption precedes our inheritance, etc. I would recommend that you spend a few weeks meditating on the Parable of the Prodigal. The foolish son rightfully did not expect the grand reception he received after he returned him. He sought his father's forgiveness and hoped that the father would take him back as a servant in his household. But he received far more than he expected, didn't he? He received GRACE! He received so much that angered his older brother.

Don't forget: It wasn't Mercy that was given to the elect in eternity; rather it was Grace!

2 Tim 1:9
9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life — not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
NIV

It's one great thing to be forgiven by the Mercy of the Righteous Judge; and yet quite another to receive an abundance of precious gifts from him, as well, by his Grace. It's one thing to be forgiven, and something else entirely to receive the gifts of Grace that actually transform us from the inside out, changing our lives completely making us fit to inhabit the eternal kingdom.
