I am not playing any games - you are...

If you read that web page I posted, you already have the answers to questions you have been asking me - I am beginning to think you are just trolling me.

For example - I very clearly and directly state in that web page that the end of one week is the start of the next week - and that 69 & 70 are no different than any other two consecutive weeks.

Go read that web page...

You need to understand that 'tribulation' is not part of the picture where the prophecy is concerned - with regard to the timing of the 70 weeks.

Yes - soon enough, they suffered tribulation; however, the prophecy does not include it in the 70 weeks - it only foretells it as happening "sometime later" - and it did - after the 70 weeks had ended.
Are you saying JESUS already Returned? Why can't something repeat for the end of time? What is the end goal of Preterism ...to give up looking?

No, I am not saying that Jesus already returned.

Did you happen to read post #53?

It does not matter what you want to call it - what matters is what the Bible says. This is the "end goal"...

You must interpret it properly and then accept what it says.

Why do you want so badly for this prophecy to be in our future?

Why can you not accept that it is [mostly] about the First Coming and not at all about the Second Coming?

i'm more on your side than you think ...i don't think satan needs a physical temple to offer a mark. You have to admit that there is something odd with the 3.5 years given to the Two Witnesses and the antichrist.

What's odd about that? While the Antichrist does his utmost to deceive mankind, Moses and Elijah -- AT THE SAME TIME -- do their utmost to bring men to Christ. And many will be saved during this time and will also be martyred for their faith. Therefore the same time period is allotted to the righteous witnesses and the wicked Man of Sin.

This scenario is almost a duplicate of the time when Jezebel tried to get the kingdom of Israel to worship Baal while Elijah did his utmost to destroy Baal and his priests and prophets.

11 minute video, it will blow your mind on the Two Witnesses.

The words of the prophet Daniel were referred to by Jesus Christ as the book for the reader to understand concerning the abomination of desolation, who is the false messiah, the king of Babylon of the last days—Satan disguised as Jesus, who appears at the sound of the 6th Trump and stands in the holy place, unleashing his deception and flood of falsehoods on the earth.

Matthew 24:15

The Great Tribulation
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),

In the manuscripts, a definite article indicates that "after threescore and two weeks" refers to the time span given in verse 25, i.e. after 483 years. Christ was crucified and "cut off," and it was He who died on the cross. But there will come a time when He will be cut off "but not for Himself," i.e. the daily sacrifice will be removed from the people's hearts and minds. Christ was crucified and rejected, and instead of ushering in the kingdom for which He came, the kingdom was put on hold for a while (John 1:11).

John 1:11
11 He came to His [a]own, and His [b]own did not receive Him.

Daniel 9:27

27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

This is the scripture that Jesus Christ refers to in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 when He declared that the abomination of desolation prophesied by Daniel the prophet will come stand in the holy place... and, as Paul asserts in 2 Thessalonians 2, show himself (to the world).

This abomination continues "until the consummation, which is determined, shall be poured onto the desolate," implying that it will continue until God pours out His wrath and ends the transgression.

Continued from above…

Satan, the little horn, will appear in the last days to "confirm the covenant with many" for the 70th week, which will usher in the first beast of Revelation 13 to be worshipped, as well as strengthen the confederacy of many peoples, nations, and tongues—the New World Order. Watch out, folk; it’s already happening.

"Daniel’s prophecies about the abomination of desolation seemed to have at least a partial fulfillment in 167 BC when a Greek ruler by the name of Antiochus IV desecrated the temple in Jerusalem. Antiochus called himself “Epiphanies” (“illustrious one” or “god manifest”). He set up an altar to Zeus over the altar of burnt offering, and he sacrificed a pig on the altar. Antiochus went even further in his atrocities, slaughtering a great number of the Jews and selling others into slavery. And he issued decrees forbidding circumcision and requiring Jews to sacrifice to pagan gods and eat pig meat. "

i'm not sure why we think the antichrist is going to pull off a covenant in end times. does taking over countries count as a covenant?

You said something very curious about it continuing.

Are we on the final day of the 70 weeks? The Day of The LORD? An age of Judgment? JESUS is Standing in for our Judgment right now on this Day. The Reborn/Faithful (Body of CHRIST) are all connected to 2000 years ago.

i wonder if sda was onto something when they say the pope is the antichrist and the usa is the false prophet. prosperity sermons are false prophecy ...and the usa has plenty of those. maybe they start praising the pope to worship the image of the beast. i think the pope is starting some type of umbrella religion where any man made religion can join it.

this is all just guesses, so if we do see a Temple being made ...run from it. But also, if you are lukewarm waiting for a Temple to be built to get Right with GOD ....consider there might not ever be one.

No, it is not. Daniel 11:31 is what Jesus makes reference to.

Daniel 9 is not in any way [directly] associated with the AoD. Nor is it associated with the End Times Scenario.

As I said before, it is about the end of the 'Times of the Jews'.

The 70 unbroken weeks ended in 34 A D.

The AoD occurred in 167 B.C.

Jesus made reference to it in a way that the Jews would understand. Hence, the parenthetical statements.

He did not say that the AoD would happen again.

His statement is not a prediction of a future AoD; rather, it is a reference to it in the past.

Again - the parenthetical statements.

He was, in effect, saying:

"When you see [what happened at the event spoken of by Daniel the prophet] about to happen again, RUN!"

For as long as anyone is fixated on believing that [any part of] week 70 is future, they will not have a proper understanding of Daniel 9:24-27.

Yes. The one-world system (the first beast).

confirm, gabar, gaw-bar', Hebrew 1396; a primitive root; to be strong; by implication to prevail, act insolently :- exceed, confirm, be great, be mighty, prevail, put to more [strength], strengthen, be stronger, be valiant.
covenant, beriyth, ber-eeth', Hebrew 1285; from Hebrew 1262 (barah) (in the sense of cutting [like Hebrew 1254 (bara')]); a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh) :- confederacy, [con-]feder[-ate], covenant, league.

Because the angel Gabriel had already told Daniel (Dan. 10:14) that he had come to make him understand what would befall his people in the latter days, which is our time, the final generation, the generation of the fig tree, which began on May 15, 1948, those occurrences were only types (1 Cor. 10:11).

Can you give me your interpretation of the following?

Judges 9:6-15
  1. 6 And all the men of Shechem gathered together, and all the house of Millo, and went, and made Abimelech king, by the plain of the pillar that was in Shechem.
  2. 7 And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.
  3. 8 The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.
  4. 9 But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
  5. 10 And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us.
  6. 11 But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?
  7. 12 Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us.
  8. 13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
  9. 14 Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us.
  10. 15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.
