Amen
I also defend the pretrib rapture.
Solid bible and easy to defend.
Nothing in the Bible supporting a rapture where anyone is taken to heaven. In fact, the ONLY rapture is tied to Christ's Second Advent in 2 Thess 2:1-3.

There is no defense for a pretrib rapture.

I think tribulation will start in 2023, Jesus second coming in 2030.

You seem to be fitting that with the idea Christ died in 30 AD, subtracting 7 years for what you think will be the "Great Tribulation?" You may not be far off, although I disagree with the notion of a 7 year Tribulation. The Reign of Antichrist will only be 3.5 years. But following this period will be an unknown length of time, after Antichrist loses his authority, when nations will be gathered to Armageddon.

At any rate, no matter how close you are, we probably shouldn't be focusing too much on establishing firm dates?

So I don't make threads often but when I do it is because I feel or believe something strongly and I personally think the tribulation could very well begin this year. For those of you who know I am a pretrib rapture believer and while I leave room for me being wrong and end up having to go through the tribulation I truly feel myself looking up more when I did my recent bible prophecy study.
And some of you may know as well I study biblical numerology as numbers are used all throughout the bible as if a hidden language and used precicely in each manner of which it is used I found a site on this subject a while back https://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/21.html and it has so far been amazing in helping me understand and the number 21 and this year has been on my eyes for a while now because it does seem to symbolize great wickeness and rebellion and sin ehich if you look at things in the world right now the wickedness corruption and sin is by far worse than it has been in a good while.

My next thing is the number 22 which seems to represent great disorder and chaos and again the link is herehttps://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/22.html Also remember how Jesus said on the mount of olives how the generation will see all these things come to pass? what is a generation according to scripture? the bible says it is 70 years or by reason of strength 80 years, now pay attention to Israel and how it became a nation again in 1948 now lets add 80 years to that and what is it? 2028 what is 7 minus that? 2021 why does God begin the great tribulation to begin with? the great rebellion and sin of man.
This is only a little of my studies but I just felt God telling me to make this thread how it is recieved is in his hands
Also for those who have been worried I have not been online much I was put into an institute by family for the mentally disabled which I don't belong in but have nowhere to go and the internet here is very finicky plus I have been working a lot as well but God has been with me and speaking to me so I figure he must have me here for a reason
yES THE TRIBULATION CAN START THIS YEAR the coming of the Lord is at any time before it

There is no " serving him during the trib"

It CLEARLY says "all take the mark. Every man, woman, and child"

You take it, or they take your head.

All believers are killed in the trib.
They are the ones left behind VIVIDLY portrayed in the virgin parable
Whether or not there is serving him in the trib or not is not important it is just something I desired to do and if given the chance still do but regardless he knows my heart and he is not above requests so I don't rule it out as a possibility though if possible I would want to go home first whether he allows me to serve in that time or not is up to him

Also I think we need to buckle down and study bible prophecy more deeply, it is unfolding before our very eyes but instead of encouraging each other bringing each other to deeper understanding seeking the truth hidden within the truth most believers do a casual study most believers are unaware exactly how impactful todays events are on the biblical timeline most lack that hunger for more that passion for understanding even I admit I was like this until I felt God calling me deeper recently and I want to encourage others to seek now not later because it is shocking

Instead of debates where are the conversations that encourage others to seek deeper? Instead of scholars and teachers where are the students? Where is the fire? Where is that thirst? where is the light that reveals all truths? Remember when you were first saved and your spirit was alive and excited to learn more? to become closer to God? Remember that fire that once illuminated our paths and hearts? Remember that spark and that love to just devour his wisdom and gain understanding?

We as a church have become as dry bones, we have fallen asleep content to the simple matters and merely debating instead of producing fruits in each others hearts instead of being that spark that ignights the flame in others that makes them hungry for God that makes them thirsty our words instead have no power they create nothing good in each others hearts we go day by day with the same arguments the same debates the same old threads and yet how many of these have done all of the above?

Wake up and become as a new believer excited and hungry before time runs out because had we paid attention had we seen the signs had we listened to the warnings in scripture we would have been on fire for God hungry and seeking the deeper things our hearts would leap with excitement they would be as a renewed lover back in that honey moon phase with God.

I pray that these words not only create that spark instill that hunger and thirst but bring us back to our first love to our first hearts before we became mature and wise in our own eyes not just for all who read this but for me as well
Take me back to the place where I first got a taste of the love that is sweeter than wine.
Take me back to the time when my heart's only cry was to know you more and more each day...each passing day.

If the tribulation starts this year I would not be surprised I think it is likely to happen in the year of the Shemitah which is between september this year and september of 2022 and it also happens to be a reap what you sow kind of thing all detbs are cleared but if you have sinned against God and lived in evil it also is one of judgment

I don't know how much you have looked into it but I think the tribulation is very much close at hand even if we didn't have all the obvious signs pointing to it many can sense it and with that the coming of our Lord at the very least many can feel the timing is close at hand

That in itself is false teaching! You make it sound good--look for Jesus, and not the Antichrist. But Jesus said to beware of false teachers and false Christs. You better go back to school!
What a streatch.

Well if we don't see the rapture this month I will have to reassess my position.
We are pretty much halfway through the month... two weeks and a couple of days left?

Hal Lindsay, in The Late Great Planet Earth, used this same kind of logic. The fig tree was the newly-formed nation of Israel in his mind. The generation which saw this happen would witness the rapture of the church. Well, Lindsay was wrong, but he kept publishing new books to refine his theories and claim he wasn't actually wrong in the first place. This is nothing new, false prophets abound. What's truly amazing to me is that people still use this logic today.

Israel isn't the fig tree in this parable. The fig tree, in this case, is just a fig tree. And the word translated "generation," (genea) can also mean "age." Jesus was saying this age will not pass away until all these things take place, not just the formation of the nation of Israel.

I'd lose the numerology bit and all the predictions, it's not healthy. I hope you don't think that I think I'm superior to you in any way, I'm just concerned. I was once in your shoes.

I can't make you do what's right. But you should obey the Scriptures.

I couldn't help but notice you ignored the point. You indicated we are to look to Christ *instead of* to false teachers, Antichrists, and the like. At least that's how I read you!

But if you're going to do both--to both watch out for false teachers and to look for Christ, then you're admitting that we do look for false teachers, Antichrists, and the like. This contradicts your previous opinion. So, are you changing your stance on this?

Yes, I've lived through the whole Hal Lindsay story. I even attended a church where he taught on Sunday mornings! But yes, Pretribbers get a joy out of predicting things, and revising them. They have no apologies for their failures--they just think that contemporary history is correcting them, and that they are color commentators! ;)

Okay, I just saw it, and found it very interesting, with some glaring deficiencies and errors.

1) There is no Pretrib Rapture of the Church.
2) Nowhere in the Scriptures are we told that Adam lived for 33.5 years before he sinned.

So, all of this prediction work is based on extra-Scriptural information, which should be rejected. Nevertheless, I also am an advocate of the Millennial Day theory. And I also think Christ died in 30 AD.

I would agree that God is precise. But He is also precise with His words, and said we cannot know the exact date of Christ's Return, which is the last day of the age.

So the Millennial "days" may be approximate millenniums, or there may be another adjustment in the formula. What I do know is that Christ will not come for his Church before the destruction of Antichrist. He will come for his Church at the same time he comes to destroy Antichrist. Paul says this in 2 Thes 2.

Everything else if very interesting. I appreciate you sharing it.

Incidentally, there are many other numerological coincidences in history, if you care to discuss them elsewhere? I've been studying them for decades! :)
