And he is God; “Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” Jude 5 (ESV)

Beloved, all diligence using to write to you concerning the common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting to agonize for the faith once delivered to the saints, for there did come in unobserved certain men, long ago having been written beforehand to this judgment, impious, the grace of our God perverting to lasciviousness, and our only Master, God, and Lord -- Jesus Christ -- denying
(Jude 1:3-4 YLT)
Jude literally calls Jesus Christ 'our only Master, God and Lord'

Christ is God

Besides, Jesus clearly states (also NT writers in many places like 1 Kor 8:6) a bit further in Jn17:3 that the Father is the only true God.
please see the other 45 pages of evidence in this thread. many times Christ is equivocated with the Father. Isaiah 9:6 is a prominent example - the name of the Son is "Mighty God" and "Everlasting Father"

many of these things are written as tho parable - you have to put 2+2 together - so that to those who have, more is given, but to those who do not have, even what they have is taken away. but from the books of Moses through John's Revelation of Christ, all of scripture is written speaking of Him.

Tempted of the Devil and Jesus’ claim to being God.

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.” Luke 4:1–2 (KJV 1900)

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Luke 4:9–11 (KJV 1900)

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” Matthew 4:7 (KJV 1900)
Right away the antitrinitarian will say the Devil meant the Father would bear Jesus up according to Ps 91. And it is the Father whom Jesus referred to.

But look again.

By saying this, does Jesus announce he is God? Yes. “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Colossians 2:9 (KJV 1900)

So Jesus in whom dwells the fullness of the Godhead announced to the Devil he is God.

Further proof? The oldest manuscripts say so too.

And he is God; “Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” Jude 5 (ESV)
Thanks Dave-L

Could you, please point me to the OT where God explains what/who is "the Devil"?

I wonder why would Luke begin with something out of the sky instead of referring to what God said earlier. After all we should use God's word to explain what is written, shouldn't we?

Could you, please point me to the OT whereby Isa 9:6 should refer to Jesus?

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”
(John 1:14-16)
Thanks posthuman

Let's begin from Jn 1;1-3 to know what is John referring to. Could you, please point me to the Word of God where the "Word" means Jesus not the Word of God like Isa 55:11, Ps 33;6-9 or 2Sam 7:12 which is exactly what John is referring to?

it doesn't matter if there was a mistake translating to Latin. the Greek of John 1:1-3 doesn't leave room for misinterpretation; the grammar indicates literally 'God was the Word'
Thanks postmortum

But which "Word" are we talking about????
Isn't the "Word" of Isa 55:11, Ps 33:6-9 or 2Sam 7:12 which John must be referring to since no prophet stated before that the "Word" is Jesus/the Christ/Messiah?

Isn't the devil the snake that deceived Eve in the garden?

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God.
(Revelation 19:13)
from John 1:1, God is the Word
From John 1:13-14, from Revelation 19:13, Christ is the Word
Christ is God
Thanks postmortum

I would prefer, if you don't mind, to find out from the literal scriptures what we are talking about (possibly the OT) first before jumping into the last heavily symbolic book.

So, through which of the prophets God said that Jesus is the "Word"?

Did God worn His chosen nation about existence of the devil?
By the way, I like you write the word "devil" by a low letter.

Since Job is the oldest of the scriptures, I would that start with God allowing Satan to not only spiritually attack Job, but tangibly as well.

Jude literally calls Jesus Christ 'our only Master, God and Lord'

Christ is God
So you wouldn't take Jesus' word against Jude's word.
Perhaps the multiple meaning original words have been rendered in the way to give traction to the Trinity God.

But you didn't find it from God, did you Dave?

My concern is that the Jews turned their backs on God many times and returned to the pagan beliefs/traditions atc.

The word appears in the OT 4X as a pagan god sculptured in wood.

Would you like me to go along with the pagan beliefs or rather with God's word?

Please take a look at Nu 22:22. Do you know that the word "satan" appears there? Do you know who said that word?

By the way, God doesn't say that satan is a fallen angel, does He?

You cannot understand the OT apart from the NT. It interprets the OT for us.

Satan is still alive and is our adversary. Must differentiate between dead idols and a living Satan.

As for the OP:

Phiippians 2
2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
