The Catholics believe:

1. " Divine authority is to be found in the authorized oral unwritten Traditions of the Roman Catholic Church".

2. "When speaking or teaching in conjunction with the Pope and orthodox oral unwritten Catholic Traditions, Catholic Bishops are held to be infallible, and hence, divinely authoritative."

3. "Official Catholic interpretation of the Bible, Catholic teachings, is considered to have Divine warrant and authority".

This are the main reasons why Catholics reject most of what the Holy Spirit says in the Scriptures.

1. Why this unwritten tradition oppose bible?

Example. a, Muslim is in the plan of salvation.

b. Purgatory, which come hundreds, or year after apostle. etc

2. from the fruit you tell the tree.

You said some pope are evil.

3. Why Divine authority reject Holy Spirit? Is God not inline with Holy spirit?

It prove that is not Divine authority, it Lucifer authority

Brother MWC,

First you said
Luke 1:42 says Mary is blessed above all other women, not just tent dwellers

Luke 1:42
[SUP]42 [/SUP]Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!

than you said.

My Question to you is.

Why you lie and change the verse, than if some one ask you not respond.

So base on your bible what it say/said.

Mary bless above or among?

Why you refused to answered this question?

Because you believe in lie doctrine?

Divine Authority does not reject the Holy Spirit, it is lead by it. We in Catholicism have: Sacred Scriptures, Sacred Tradition, and the Magesterium. These three are kinda like legs on a stool, they are all necessary for the stability of the Church and to guarantee sound doctrine. What I have witnessed here at CC is an amazing lack of authority when it comes to the scriptures. There are hundreds of views all claiming the Holy Spirit and no other proof. I just can't accept that kind of willy nilly interpreting. If you ask me, satan is leading all the misinterpretting and Catholics have it right!

God picked Mary before the foundation of the world to carry and raise our Lord Jesus Christ. That makes her Blessed and above women in my book. I understand you don't care much for Mary. I care a lot about Mary. We have a disagreement. Even when you say I follow satan, because of this, I know I'm not!

Your view of Mary is unquestionably Satanic.

She was born sinful. She was a good woman whom God chose to bear the Messiah, she carelessly left Him in Jerusalem when He was a boy leaving Him behind to fend for Himself, she got in a twist about His ministry and tried to stop it so that He disowned her, and in the end as a consequence of the resurrection she became a Christian. She now worships in Heaven along with other believers, and is totally unconscious of what we are talking about.

There is nothing wrong with Sacred Tradition if it reflects the truths of Scriptures. But we do have a problem with Sacred Tradition when it denies and opposes God's word in the Bible, then we have a serious problem.

The Mary of Catholic teaching has little to do with the Mary of the New Testament. Given Mary's supreme importance in the Catholic Church, it's amazing to consider the complete absence of the mention of even her name in the New Testament epistles.

Apart from Acts 1:14, Mary is mentioned nowhere outside the Gospels. And even in the Gospels, there exists almost no reference to her possession of spiritual power and authority. Neither Jesus Christ nor Paul nor any other biblical writer ever gave Mary the place or devotion the Catholic Church has given her for a thousand years.

This is all the more suprising when we consider that the New Testament letters were written specifically for the spiritual guidance of the Church, and they have a great deal to say about both doctrine and worship.

The Truths of the Scriptures from the Holy Spirit is the Truth we use. If the Traditions oppose the Truth in the Bible then those Traditions have no Truth and we are to reject them for the Truth from God.

imo, the Church developed the doctrine after Elizabeth's greeting to Mary. Just my opinion

Which of the hundreds of Holy Spirits, here at CC, do you use?

There is only one Holy Spirit and He is God.
Just saw you joined today. Stick around and see all the people, like you, who claim they have the truth yet oppose each other. Its quite hilarious at times!

You said the teaching of the popes is guaranty.

So you believe it doesn't matter what you do as long as you pope, it guaranty good doctrine, and have authority to interpreted bible?

While bible said the fruit tell the tree.

Bible said Holy spirit will teach you and remind you.

You don't believe bible?

God give authority to apostle.

If God give authority to Popes, why the same God doesn't teach about purgatory to apostle, not pray to Mary etc?
