Are you talking about me or someone else, sorry i have never put anyone down cos of their country, from what I know of journalists they are always looking for an angle. I would take what I read in newspapers with a grain of salt. One persons opinion or claim isnt enough to make them objective.

This is why Jesus said about having two or three witnesses.

On reading the article, well in a dictactorship its easy for crimes like this to happen. Why the catholics not suing well of it happened they can just explain it away by saying that was in the past and it was legal because nobody prosecuted or got caught.

However the thing is, all those people involved that though they were doing God a service, will have to account for their actions on judgement day.

I have heard of adoptive parents faking their pregancies. The former mayor of my town didnt know he was adopted until he was in his fifties. There was all this secrecy, also in australia children got adopted from war time families in england it was a huge govt sanctioned thing.

Money changing hands well...the thing is if the adoptive parents signed something then its on them as its a contract it cant be prosectued as a case of kidnapping with a ransom to b held and the threat of a child dying.

There are rumours that something similar happened in Canada with the natives. The infants were taken and raised in orphanages and forbidden to speak their language and “recultured”. Maybe this had to do with long term. They were not able to benefit from the treaty, entitling their descendants to centuries of benefits.

In the 1970's I red an article ina Chicago newpape on travel,, and th eplace in question was PARISSSS...Yes, France.

The expert traveler declared he could not find bread in pARIS.. I had alrey beeen to Paris several times, aand I KNOW THERE ARE BAKERIES JUST ABOUTT EVERYWHERE NOT TO MENTION THE SLICED BREA SOLD IN GROCERY STORES. i HAVE witnessed many untruths in newpaperss in my short time in this age.

I agree with you brother, If I read about one an not Find a bread in zparis, though I never go to Paris, I am not going to believe that, because It is No reputation or never happen there is No bread in Paris.

Even If one say there is No bread in poor country like my country, I am not going to believe It.

The problem is, If one say that there is bread in Paris, I Will 100 % believe It, because Paris is a whealty city,

It Reputation make me believe there is bread in Paris.

Although marie antoinette famously said let them eat cake...when she heard there was no bread in paris...this was during the terror/revolution.

One needs to investigate, do your research.

Yup, It may during the war. Wealthy city may do not have a bread, or power during a war, so If one say No bread in Paris, It may be true.

Just googled this, found a usually reliable source, the BBC!

https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-europe-44518180

Yes, it did happen in Spain, but the max number was 30,000, NOT multiplied by 10!

Further, it was Franco, the fascist dictator who initiated this, taking babies away from Republicans (supporters of the King, and the old regime!) and gave them to fascist families. Some RCC priests may have been involved, but it was not instigated by the church. It was about politics, not religion.

"A slowly unfolding Spanish scandal

In 2008 investigating judge Baltasar Garzón estimated that 30,000 children had been stolen from families considered politically suspect by the Franco regime after the 1936-39 civil war
Some 3,000 reported cases of alleged stolen children have been reported, but prosecutors have closed all but a handful of investigations
In 2013 María Gómez Valbuena, an 87-year-old nun facing two charges of kidnapping and falsifying documents, died before going on trial
In 2017 the European Parliament's Committee on Petitions called on Spain to be more proactive in attending to victims by creating a special prosecutor and a public DNA bank, and urged the Catholic Church to open its archives to shed light on Franco-era adoptions."

There are some estimates of 300,000, but those are estimates based not on records, but speculations. This started in the 1930's, when Franco defeated and disposed the King in a terrible civil war. Ironically, the Spanish brought back the King, after Franco died.

Sadly, these aren't rumours. Both the residential school system and the "60's Scoop" are historical realities.

This story came to light here in Spain about two years ago. Then it seemed to just go away. I am not a fan of the RCC especially seeing how they veneragte people and staqtuesssssssssss here, but even 30,000 is a lot to believe with the very few who say this happened to them.. I do know the only scripture brought to life and truth is the Word, never newpapersss...
