Can understand, i didn't know better as a total newbie but soon found my feet a little. Think you know i love Pastor Mike Winger? Love C. S. Lewis too.
Yes, it is loving our "enemies/trolls" that is the hard part.
I was also severely opposed by some who advocate obeying Sabbath law, but I haven't encountered them lately.
My only previous chat experience was on an army forum, where I had to expect opposition from atheists.

Thing is GWH, if he just stops causing grief in my post, that's the end of it for me. I just refuse to let him get away with being so irritating and troublesome.

Well, in addition to trolls, one has to beware of becoming stuck in tar-babies.
A lot of things we need to beware of GWH but that isn't something i'm known for, if a problem's sorted no point dwelling on it. Sick of the sight of this thread but glory, a lot of comments for a post less than a month old.

1. Do you think if there was any chance of those who go to the l.o.f. would at some point repent and believe, the Lord would banish them there forever?
So you think turning men's heart to the Father can be accomplished by merely inflicting pain on them? When my father inflicted sadistic punishments on me, I assure you that did not draw me closer to him. Revelation affirms that pain, even when inflicted on men by God can actually drive them away from Him:

10 And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish 11 and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores; yet they did not repent of their deeds.…
(Revelation 16:10)

Those in the lake of fire aren't reaping what they sowed, they are being given exactly what they wanted, no God.
The wages of sin is not eternal punishment, it is death. Christ paid that price on the Cross. The lake of fire is reserved for those who will never repent and believe.

Those whose end up in the lake of fire did not WANT to reap the consequences. They wanted to "sow to the flesh" without suffering ANY consequence. They deceived themselves into believing they would never have any penalty for it.

7 Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return. 8 The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap ETERNAL LIFE.…
(Galatians 6:7-8)
I think you should have read the whole discussion to understand what I was saying. :)

If you stop trolling there won't be any need for a missed apology you use to troll more. Also, telling people they've done something they didn't, is strongly indicative of trolling too.
The only one trolling in this thread is you with your constant distractions and mean spirited accusations.

It's a Bible Discussion forum yet you have not once given a single scripture to back up your opinion.

Maybe you should let the Lord God evaluate YOUR opinion in YOUR thread.

Yes, but a long string of he said/she said (tit for tat) indicates a vicious loop or being stuck in a tar-baby.
Someone has to cede posting the last word.

Is that so?! Maybe LLL needs to meditate on GW for awhile,
just as Paul probably did when he went to Arabia following his conversion.
presumably to study the OT for prophecies concerning Messiah (GL 1:11-17)
so he could get reoriented from being a strict Pharisee.

May I recommend our website for a boost, perhaps the Lessons on the teachings of Jesus and Paul for starters?

One way to make oneself feel you are not missing anything is to find ways to make Christians look like fools to you...

This thread has bumped into a trend that is beginning to remind me of how a woke person gets triggered by things that a well balanced normal person would not even take notice of. And, the normal ones must conform!!!

Oh well... It at least serves as training for those growing in grace and truth.

Yeah, it's been quite the read! The person with the poop on their shoe doesn't think the stink is coming from themselves.

Free Will is complicated for us. In one sphere yes, we have free will in that we can make choices, as Adam and Eve did in the Garden. However, the apostle Paul lends insight that we are governed by two forces, "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. " (Galatians 5:16-17, NIV). This passage indicates that we will be motivated and steered by either God's Spirit or our own flesh desires (see Galatians 5:19-21).

Ultimately you do have free will, for without it you cannot choose to believe, however, once you do believe it seems the two forces are in conflict, and you will have to decide what to surrender to, The Spirit or the Carnal Flesh.

And you can't become a living soul without a soul.
It depends on your definition of a soul

A light bulb and electricity = a shining light.

A body and life from God = a living soul.

God did not put a living soul in us.

We became a living soul.

A living soul is a breathing person, spirit, soul and body.
That's what I'm saying... the soul can not exist outside the body.
Our minds are what anables us to think on a higher level to animals.

Our minds and characters and bodies make up our souls, the Spirit of God is a gift we choose to accept or reject.

I think we mostly believe the same thing.
