The bible even says some have left the truth (that Jesus is God). My cousin did. She left Christianity to become Muslim. She knew the truth her whole life, into adulthood, but gave it up in order to marry the one she wanted to marry. She chose that husband over God. It can happen, I've seen it with my own eyes. And the bible says if they leave the truth they can never come back. How can you leave some place where you have never been?
Israel whored after idols too, but God can still draw anyone from lies and deceptions.

Will pray with you for your cousin and her family.

She's not my sister, she's my cousin, but She left Christ to follow Muhammad. She no longer even calls Christ Lord. If not everyone who calls Him Lord can enter heaven, how can someone who doesn't even call Him Lord enter? The opinion you stated does not match what the bible says. Besides, we are told not to forsake the assembly. The church is the body of Christ- she is no longer IN Christ because she has left His church. The body of the believers in Muhammad is not the body of Christ.
Praying for her.

Lucifer had eternal life, and Adam had Life, a gift from God, and they both made the "choice" to lose it.
When you have Jesus (God), you have LIFE, and we can choose to have or not to have Him.
Once you Have Him you can turn from Him and go back to not having Him.
love does not force.

Lucifer never had eternal life, Like adam, He had life, It was never promised to be eternal.

If you can "lose" "eternal life" It was never "eternal" to begin with.

New International Version
if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

New Living Translation
If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.

English Standard Version
if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself.

Berean Study Bible
if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

Berean Literal Bible
if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He is not able to deny Himself.

New American Standard Bible
If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

King James Bible
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself
Just because God is faithful to us does not mean we cannot be unfaithful to Him. The bible says, "IF you remain faithful to the end I will give you a crown of life." "IF" is a conditional statement is it not?

What this reveals is that hyper grace really is a Word of Faith theology that makes salvation only about this life. Since it holds that no one can lose salvation no matter what behavior they practice, eternal salvation is really not the issue. The incessant hyper grace proselytizing is about escaping the condemnation of a hyper-sensitized conscience for a better life in this world.

Eternal life is eternal. or God lied,

End of story..

Aside from the numerous scriptures saying we are sealed and redeemed and promised, it would help if you knew a little about jewish traditions. In jewish tradition an adopted son has more rights than a natural born son, one of those being he can never be disowned. Since Jesus is a jew and since He upheld the entire law Christians as adopted sons and daughters can never be disowned. I know it is very hard for you to have faith in Jesus but He loves you and will never ever forsake you.
I don't believe this at all. I doubt you can provide credible evidence for this.

I don't believe that she is now "out of Christ" because she married a muslim....that's nonsense....If she was in fact "in Christ" to begin with, Jesus will not lose her to any circumstance. Jesus is not a religion of keeping rules to go to heaven - that's a religion that is man-made.

As I said she most likely left a "religion" she was in but she did not leave Christ who is in her heart - if she is "in Christ" to begin with. Forsaking the assembly does not lead to going to hell.

She is just confused because she wanted to be with this man. If she is "in Christ"..He will woo her. Just watch. Jesus does not lose any of His sheep. Salvation is not based on what we do..it's based totally on what He did.

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
1 John 5:13

Now put your thinking hats on a little. We only live in the here and now. Eternal life is a promise about the future that has not yet happened. You cannot receive something now that does not currently exist. Eternal life is a promise.
I will respond here. according to the two bolded enlarged statements......

1. Peter tells me to put my thinking cap in.

2. Peter quotes John, Who said we have eternal life right here and right now.

3. Peter then tells me that I do not have eternal life until the future, which is the opposite of what John said.

Is any one else confused?

Lloyd: Oh man I'm feeling really bad because I lost the gold watch my father gave me!
Harry: Dummy! You can't lose a gift!
Lloyd: What!?
Harry: Yeah if you lose something that means you never had it in the first place!
Lloyd: Oh wow! I feel so much better now! I'd really hate to lose something my father gave me.
Ummmm, that’s the whole point. You can't lose what you never had. A person who says they have lost a watch they never had has some serious mental issues.

Some assume the crown is eternal life, but are you so sure that is what God says?

Thanks, I needed this laugh, I am still rolling.. Because I was going to say, oh what irony, HRFTD tells someone not to use that word, then makes a completely nonsensical statement himself..

They are not? Then what are they?

Believer predestined to heaven for eternity before time began.

Unbeliever? Left out in the cold?? What?
Check out what Scripture says:

First, it never says believers are predestined to go to heaven. It says they are predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, to be adopted as children, to be holy and without blame.

Never does Scripture use the term "predestinate" in relation to unbelievers.

I think the Biblical teaching of "predestination" is about what God does for those who choose Him. God from the beginning of time ordained (decided) that those who choose Him will be forgiven of their sins, will be adopted as His sons, and will be made like unto His Son.

Yes, we can talk and argue about if God knew from the beginning of time who would go to heaven and hell -- that is a valid and fair debate: but the Bible never uses the word "predestinate" in this way.

There is a third category - faithful.
These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him [are] called and chosen and faithful.” Revelation 17:14
so then they have eternal life, because they are all these things..

No ifs ands or buts about it..

Samson was chosen and he went off the rails for a while and came back at the end. Weather we are called or chosen, weather God does greater or lesser things in our life, we all need to "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Php 2:12

Yep. Work out what you have, Not what your trying to earn, but don't have yet

Fact is, You can't work out what you do not yet have..

He is faithful when we are faithless, but being faithless requires repentance.
I read that verse over and over, I do not see that requirment,

Also. How can you repent, when your faithless? thats a tricky one.

You can kill the baby but you can never make the child go back into the womb and a loving mother would never disown her child even if he killed himself....how can we sinners be more loving than our Heavenly Father?
How can we believe God would ever disown us?

Nope. Jesus said it is the work of God that we have faith in him. It is not our work. because we did nothing but sit still and let him do ALL THE WORK.. We trusted him to do what he promised he would do..
Well then, I will say the same:

Nope, I do not believe that a person saves himself by keeping faith in Christ. It is the work of God that we keep our faith in him.
