From the thread. Poll, do we chose god or does he chose us, third post

The way I see it, We chose to be saved, by placing our faith in the work of God.

That is not chosing God.

We are unable to even understand God until after we are saved, thus we have no capacity to chose God.
i think I made it known long before the quote preacher quoted what my true belief was about choosing god,

if he wishes to continue his rant, let him, my conscious is clean.

You're spinning your wheels bro. No matter what proof you give they will twist it to their favor.
I hear you. But I don’t necessarily see those that don’t believe in Gods sovereignty over who His children are as adversaries.
Because in our human understanding and sense of “fairness “ I used to think, before reading the whole Bible that I chose Him of MY own free will.

No one should get past the concrete point that we were all Spiritually dead, and incapable of choosing Him unto HE quickens us.

They'll just say they are nations to avoid seeing that God hates an individual, because, you know, it is more comfy believing God hates an entire NATION of people than just one guy. It helps them sleep better at night knowing it's a whole bunch of individuals, not just one.

I mean each individual saved member of the Body of Christ.
You mean these people?

John 17 For I have given to them the Words You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

I never implied they are adversaries so not sure where that came from, although on here some are such by their own choice, not mine.

My will sucks! My will wants to sin. I want God’s Will. It’s one of the primary points we ask God for in the Lord’s Prayer.

I can repeat the order of events to how I became born again. But I can assure you they haven’t changed.
