According to Rom 6:9 & Rev 1:18, Jesus is immortal.

Plus:

According to John 6:53-55 his flesh contains eternal life.

Ergo: Even if somebody really wanted to kill Jesus-- even a little piece of
Jesus --they would not succeed.

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

Isaiah 53:6 KJV
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

John 1:29 KJV
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks
judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. I Corinthians 11:27‭-‬29

The verse below is deliberately misquoted to emphasize a point. Watch for
the revision:

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy condition eats and drinks
judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

I was baptized an infant into the RCC and in time completed First Holy
Communion and Confirmation. The nuns drilled it into my head that Jesus'
body-- his flesh --was in some miraculous way, present in the bread element
(a.k.a. species) and it was also drilled into my head that to be worthy of the
Eucharist meant going to confession prior to the ritual.

Well, the worthiness spoken of in the passage above pertains not to the
spiritual condition of the partakers of the Lord's Supper, rather, to the way
they went about it.

Paul lectured the Corinthians about using the elements for food because
they weren't partaking of token amounts of bread and wine, rather, they
were making a banquet of them; while forgetting about their meaning and
purpose.

FAQ: What is the meaning and purpose of the bread and wine used in the
Lord's Supper?

REPLY: By eating and drinking the bread and wine, Christ's followers are
acknowledging their participation with Christ as joint principals in his
crucifixion.

Rom 6:3 . . Don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ
Jesus were baptized into his death?

Rom 6:6 . . Knowing this: that our old man is crucified with him

Col 3:3 . . For you died, and your life is now concealed with Christ in God.
