EG, you state that your post had nothing to do with feeling, then you say your point is i insist that you do not feel Gods power.

I said His present Presence. That is His flowing of Holy Spirit within us. His work doing His works through us. We may feel something or we may not.

His touch however, will cause a reaction. I can give the scripture again that I just found for that statement if you like.[/QUOTEYou like to twist my words. That’s exactly what I was talking about. Not feelings but his presence which you continue to claim we do not experience and YOUR WRONG! If you only felt him as we do you would understand

Well, if we should take Jesus as example we find no evidence that he heals people via violence. Punching people on the place where the sickness is, is mostly hurtful.
How many people today went to ghosthealers and others and they get healed. This has nothing to do with healing from God. So who then is behind such people?
You don’t understand the power of Holy Spirit Wolf. If there’s an incident where someone is punched in the stomach by the anointing of Holy Spirit through the gifting of healing by a man (apostle) then the disease is out and the person is healed. The power is strong Wolf. That’s as simple as I can make it.

As far as the scriptures and not seeing it there? That would be wisdom IMO, because religion would make it a doctrine to punch for healing. 😇

The old proverbial saying...you can’t put God in your box.

This thread is so far off topic, I’ve forgotten what it is.

Am sure it’s been done long ago.

It says while peter was speaking they spoke in tongues.
You just assume they were saved.

You guys reject that the Holy Spirit in fact is the agent that leads men to Christ.
Such basic stuff is poo pooed.
I think your argument needs some factor that the Holy Spirit CANNOT do anything until a person is born again.
That is what you need.
You need to show where the Holy Spirit is prohibited (which is in fact your assumption)
We need a pillar that says doctrinally the Holy Spirit only works after conversion,he does not act or move or convict anyone until after conversion.
""No sinner ever was moved upon by the Holy Spirit"".

That is easy to debunk.
Jesus taught that the Holy Spirit would convince men of sin, righteousness and judgment. John 16:8-11 so yes the Holy Spirit moves upon sinful unsaved men, If God did not draw men to Christ and illuminate their heart by His word none would ever be saved.

Were you saved by your will or the will of God? Did you determine to be saved or did God draw you to Christ and show you your need to be saved?

Are you drawn to Christ for truth or for excitement?

For the cause of Christ

Wigglesworth is not here to explain so let’s let this go. I gave his way of preaching to you wolf. Not healing. Why did you go beyond the point?

they find someone they think fits their narrative and it has become a life preserver

ie: 'you are all crazy and we can prove it because of wigglesworth

now become a rallying cry for cessationists everywhere o_O

Well, that goes for ANY thread. There is a difference between debating something, and running it into the ground. ( To the OP here, Footprint, nothing against you, you're new here;))
It's very OBVIOUS that there are some issues many users are very passionate about and want to share. It's just SAD:cry: when the "unbelievers" in that issue practically attack them to try and silence an issue, while they are the ones running other issues that may not be agreed upon and Lord forbid if ANYONE speaks against THEM.
I guess I'm just saying, if your going to debate an issue then debate it, but STOP attacking each other on things. If you DON'T like it, then skip it!
Since we don't have voice on the threads, we each have to read into it what we will, and personally there are MANY times when I read something to me it sounds like a snotty tone of voice:cry:.
Jesus does not want for us to treat our brothers and sisters in the Lord this way.
I couldn't agree more!!!

Heard it from far to many people. I think it is a programmed response
very catty the way you gang up on others and speak about them to their face behind their back

and then you go 'heard it from many people'

slimy

It is pure NONSENSE for anyone to claim that anyone will be punched in the stomach "by the anointing of the Holy Spirit". That should be "by the influence of an evil spirit or demon". Satan and evil spirits are known to be involved with healing miracles too. Nothing new. The Shamans invoke evil spirits all the time for healings.

There's no need to insult Wolf for speaking the truth. But that is your MO.

man!

you just cannot get over the fact that once upon a time I dared to tell you I disagreed with your view on women in the church

ever since that time you take a shot whenever you think you have a 'gotcha moment'

are you wolf's lawyer?

he and I have jabbed at each other now and then for pages

you are not worth your retainer

get a life

The power of the Holy Spirit is strong. Right! But not brutal! This you cant tell me.
This reminds me realy to the doings of tribal medicinmans. They beat pregnant woman on their womb, so that the child should come out. ( happend in India)
I hope you speak from the same Spirit which was sent by our Lord.

No. I am the nemesis of those who wish to dump on Wolf (which you have been doing). Which means that you have some serious issues.

so glad you finally got your calling

better than being at that garage I guess
