While you look for pictures others have painted, I get out my oil paints and my brushes and use them to praise the Lord for the beauty and glory of His world. Some create music to praise the Lord, Some write poetry. You search the work of others, but I paint.

Speaking of music? I have been inspired by the musical compositions of @SoulWeaver while designing these digital collages (and other times too ). SW has put some of the Psalms to music she has composed, and has an incredible voice to go with. Psalm 8:1-4

According to 2nd Peter 1:20 you may not interpret scripture privately. So the "sons of God" must be defined by other scripture. Here what research will show;

1. The "Son of God" is Jesus - begotten of God
2. The "sons of God" are Believers who have been born of the Father by FAITH through the Holy Spirit (Jn.1:12-13, 3:6)
3. Adam is a "son of God" because he had his ORIGIN in God
4. The "sons of God" are beings who rejoiced when the earth was made, and who include Satan (Job.1:6, 2:1, 38:7). Satan is an angel.
5. The "sons of God" in Genesis 6 are in OPPOSITION to "the daughters of MEN". If they were of Seth's line they would be "sons of MEN" (See Gen.6:1)
6. Angels, although their substance is spirit, have bodies. In every sighting of any angel in the Bible he had a body. The two angels that went to Sodom first ate with Abraham.
7. Angels who sinned at Noah's time, "left their 'FIRST' estate". The word "first estate" in Jude 6 means "their beginning", or "what they were made for", and/or "their principality". That is, their actions are not disputed, but they are accused of dealing outside the realm they were placed in. If the "sons of MEN" mated with women they would not have "left their original purpose".

After perusing the evidence the only "sons of God" who mated with "daughters of MEN" must be angels.

I do not interpret Scriptures privately, wherever did you get the idea that I do? As if I stand alone in my view? How sadly you would be mistaken if you actually thought that Many adhere to the view I hold, and God's Word is clear on this issue of believers not mixing and especially not marrying into non-believers. Men are also called Sons of God. And Enoch is NOT considered inspired.

Whoa. When I said the law was a schoolmaster you berated me for it and called me all kinds of names and falsely accused me of a number of things. Does your forked tongue never cease wagging?

O.K. I hear you. I know that many hold what you do, but you left me wondering because you did not give the scriptures that indicated that the "son's of God" were Seth's line.

The rest we agree on. The Book of Enoch is not inspired, but Moses was. So was Jude in verse 14 when he quoted Enoch.

How do you get along with people who lie to you, misrepresent what you have said, and falsely accuse you of things you have not done? She decided to put me on ignore rather than deal honestly with her issues, and wanted me to likewise put her on ignore as if she were my boss and had a say in what I choose to read and respond to. No; I say, I will continue to expose her errors, and hypocrisy, as she pretends she does not judge people, while doing so at every turn, while saying we should not at the same time.

Telling us things like Adam and Eve ate an apple and that caused the fall of man? LOL. And putting the words of Satan in God's mouth, and vice versa. Some of these errors of which I speak are not minor misunderstandings. They show a gross lack of understanding.

Or at least keep the conversation to scripture!! I truly try, and finally give up. I can't imagine trying to be an enemy of another Christian. I wish there was an answer. She is convinced I am wrong completely, she says, and feels her fighting me is fighting for truth. Yet the fight is of me personally, and not scripture! It is unsolvable. So let the fight alone, let it be. The Lord's way will win. If the Lord is for me, who can be against me? God is love, not rules. To fight over rules is opposing God, and sometimes discussions of the rules get out of hand and becomes weapons of the evil one. That has happened, best for everyone to just walk away, including me.
