I was Catholic, learned from Catholic sources, even read their scholars a while back.
They are off the mark so to speak in so much.
It is quite sad really, the Eucharist and the sacraments do not save, only Jesus saves.

Sometimes one has to question everything they have been taught and start fresh.
I will admit I do find the Catholic bashing difficult sometimes but for the most part it is all true, Truth supersedes emotional attachment.
I was brought up as a Catholic too. Once, during a weekly catechism class I got my mouth running and a mean nun slapped my wrist with a ruler. She probably would have made me say penance too if she were a priest. Of course, if she were a guy she probably would have got my twisted attempt at humor. Regardless, it was well worth the cost of admission. :)

Hail= Greeting. Holy Queen , hmmm is Christ a king?
Scripture never calls Mary a queen, this is a label that is placed on her and if you did your research you would know it is has more to do with mythology than anything Christian.

Mary fulfilled her role here on earth. She is not to be venerated in any form.

Of course not. It takes a long time and lots of study.

Explaining Marian teaching to non-Catholics is like teaching grade 2 with a grade 12 book. It takes time, study and an open mind.
The fact is, non-Catholics get very little education about Mary.

I could write a whole article about how ex-Catholics become anti-Catholics. First you try to qualify your post with how knowledgeable you are about Catholicism. I've seen this tactic many times. Then you say "...Eucharist and the sacraments do not save, only Jesus saves..." This kind of statement expresses either blind prejudice or a profound ignorance of what sacraments are. What "scholars a while back" did you read? Dave Hunt? Jack Chick?
I am prepared to work with you on this but all you have given me to go on is anti-Catholic rhetoric.

"I was a Catholic for 50 years!" is another common tool to bolster authenticity. An ethnical Catholic, (my family is Catholic) a Catholic by default (or by inertia), a Christmas and Easter Catholic (Mass 2X a year) are all technical Catholics, BUT NONE OF THEM ARE PRACTICING CATHOLICS!!! Comparing the best evangelical Protestants with the worst Catholics is not fair, and it happens every day. That would be like me comparing St. Francis of Assisi or St. Mother Teresa with the worst evangelical/Protestant you know.

Scripture never calls Mary a queen, this is a label that is placed on her and if you did your research you would know it is has more to do with mythology than anything Christian.

Mary fulfilled her role here on earth. She is not to be venerated in any form.
The Davidic kings in the Old Testament all had queens. The queen was never the wife of the king, but THE MOTHER of the king. A king with no queen mother was unthinkable to the Jews. Your problem is that you are so far removed from Judaic roots, any king of KINGdom with a queen mother is unthinkable.

John 19:26 – Jesus makes Mary the Mother of us all as He dies on the Cross by saying “behold your mother.” Jesus did not say “John, behold your mother” because he gave Mary to all of us, his beloved disciples. All the words that Jesus spoke on Cross had a divine purpose. Jesus was not just telling John to take care of his mother.

Rev. 12:17 – this verse proves the meaning of John 19:26. The “woman’s” (Mary’s) offspring are those who follow Jesus. She is our Mother and we are her offspring in Jesus Christ. The master plan of God’s covenant love for us is family. But we cannot be a complete family with the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Christ without the Motherhood of Mary.

John 2:3 – this is a very signifcant verse in Scripture. As our mother, Mary tells all of us to do whatever Jesus tells us. Further, Mary’s intercession at the marriage feast in Cana triggers Jesus’ ministry and a foreshadowing of the Eucharistic celebration of the Lamb. This celebration unites all believers into one famiy through the marriage of divinity and humanity.

John 2:7 – Jesus allows His mother to intercede for the people on His behalf, and responds to His mother’s request by ordering the servants to fill the jars with water.

Psalm 45:9 – the psalmist teaches that the Queen stands at the right hand of God. The role of the Queen is important in God’s kingdom. Mary the Queen of heaven is at the right hand of the Son of God.

1 Kings 2:17, 20 – in the Old Testament Davidic kingdom, the King does not refuse his mother. Jesus is the new Davidic King, and He does not refuse the requests of his mother Mary, the Queen.

1 Kings 2:18 – in the Old Testament Davidic kingdom, the Queen intercedes on behalf of the King’s followers. She is the Queen Mother (or “Gebirah”). Mary is our eternal Gebirah.

1 Kings 2:19 – in the Old Testament Davidic kingdom the King bows down to his mother and she sits at his right hand. We, as children of the New Covenant, should imitate our King and pay the same homage to Mary our Mother. By honoring Mary, we honor our King, Jesus Christ.

1 Kings 15:13 – the Queen Mother is a powerful position in Israel’s royal monarchy. Here the Queen is removed from office. But now, the Davidic kingdom is perfected by Jesus, and our Mother Mary is forever at His right hand.

2 Chron. 22:10 – here Queen Mother Athalia destroys the royal family of Judah after she sees her son, King Ahaziah, dead. The Queen mother plays a significant role in the kingdom.

Neh. 2:6 – the Queen Mother sits beside the King. She is the primary intercessor before the King.

So why do you call all this mythology???
Please explain how a collective gives birth to an Individual in Rev. 12 as a primary interpretation.

No sincere prayer is what is received. Are you God, what do you know, have been to heaven?
You do not know the extent of abilities in heaven. If Christ teaches " If you say to this mountain cast thy self into the sea and believe in faith- it will be received. You seem to not realize because of indoctrination and not in brotherly love but hate, the Rosary , The Rule of Theotoks, and yes even the Lutheran Rosary only ask for Mary and the saints to pray for us. Not to mention the life of Christ is meditated on through the mysteries. Only God gives answer.
Rev.8:3-4
…3Then another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. 4And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose up before God from the hand of the angel.
Revelation 5:8
8 And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;

Is mother Mary a saint? Are the apostles saints? Again if you have read, where is the saints reign from and who is it over?
I am not God and not been to heaven, do you, have you been to heaven?

So either me or you never go to heaven, than why do I know that I never become Christ when I am there and not able to hear millions pray? Because bible never told me so.

Did bible told you that Mary or saint able to hear billions pray?

The verse you give not say Mary hear billions pray.

Yes Mary is part of the body of Christ, so do I, and all believer, but AS a part of the body of Christ i am not able to hear billions prayer.

The 24 elderly in revelation hold golden bow of pray. Is that mean Mary include the 24 elder?

Is that mean the 24 elder able to hear millions prayer?

When I was young I work AS courier, I was holding hundred of Mail every day, is that mean I know what is oN the envelope? No.

You have to add to say Mary is include in the 24 elder, Mary know every prayer etc, bible prohibit to add or
Delete the Word.

What is your point? Learn pray to Mary first before pray to Jesus?
But pray to Jesus is easier than pray to Mary.

Hmm...I have struck a nerve it seems. You must spend a lot of time defending your beliefs.

Many have left evangelical churches and become Catholic, it really does not prove anything.

There is absolutely no defense for the doctrines of the Catholic church in light of the simple gospel of Christ Jesus.

Have you read Hans Kung, Neuhaus, Pierre Teilard de Chardin, Henri Houwen, Thomas Merton, Aquinas, and on and on...so do not assume that I do not know Catholicism, I have also done a deep study on transubstantiation, you know where the priest performs alchemy and changes elements from bread and wine to body and blood, you may want to research that some time.

The only thing that the Catholic Church (as an institution) offers is bondage and false assurance in the powers of an institution, I pray each day that people will have their eyes opened and find what Jesus promises in Him not the traditions of men.

I am sorry you refuse to see the plain truth, while the liturgy may seem beautiful if one digs deep one will see a white washed tomb.

Mary was not a perpetual virgin as taught in the Catholic Church and He is not telling the church she is a Queen in Heaven, nor that she is our spiritual mother.

If you read on you will see that John took Mary into his home and cared for her. All Jesus did was ensure someone cared for his mother.

26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[a] here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

Jesus is talking about having child like faith that depends on God the same as a child depends on their parents. He is not condoning ignorance.

Does Scripture support the concept of a queenless KINGdom? The CHURCH that Jesus builds is modeled after the earthly DAVIDIC KINGDOM, not AT&T or Microsoft. A New Adam with no New Eve, Israel with no Daughter of Zion, offspring with no WOMAN, Ark of the Old Covenant with no Ark of the New Covenant does violence to Scripture and all of Christian history.

Not understanding something is one thing. Refusing to understand after it has been explained repeatedly is prejudice. If you still don't understand this queenship business, scroll up to post #85. I can explain further if you want to know, no amount of explaining will work if you refuse to know.

THE LIES OF DAVE HUNT
HUNTING THE WHORE OF BABYLON

Some anti-Catholics claim the Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon of Revelation 17 and 18. Dave Hunt, in his 1994 book, A Woman Rides the Beast, presents nine arguments to try to prove this. His claims are a useful summary of those commonly used by Fundamentalists, and an examination of them shows why they don’t work.

Tell me, how does believing Mary as Queen of heaven make a difference spiritually?

How can you even promote this heresy, everything you are promoting is connected to the esoteric teachings and the divine feminine, yin and yang, Isis, Diana ....

The RCC has elevated Mary to a place she does not belong, so your above meme is wrong, those that understand scripture are putting in her rightful place as the earthly/physical mother of Jesus, not Queen of Heaven of which you have no scriptural basis.

Not one verse of end-time prophecy involves Catholicism. Islam gave birth to its jihadist sects who fill the harlot's cup on a daily basis, with the promise of obtaining a mansion with as many as 72 bedrooms with a virgin in each one. The harlot is Islam.

Islam will have taken over Roman Catholicism by that time. Rome will absorb the protestants and then Islam will absorb Rome. The false prophet will be the head of this one world religion.

I deny all this. Take my advise and flee from it, it is pagan at its very core. Jesus is not the "sun"

Excerpt...
“Hail, Mary, you are the most precious creature in the whole world; hail, Mary, uncorrupt dove; hail, Mary, inextinguishable lamp; for from you was born the Sun of justice…through you, every faithful soul achieves salvation.” WRONG Cyril of Alexandria, Homily 11 at Ephesus (A.D. 431).
