Joh 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

We walk by faith, not by sight, and many people want proof physically that God does exist.
Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, and the disciples had the witness, and some of them back then, of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, so they did not need faith, but everybody else needs faith.
Jesus is saying that some people will only believe because they have seen Jesus after He raised from the dead, and a visible manifestation of God, and since it is based on faith it is not enough for some people to be convinced that God is real.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
Creation testifies that there is a God, or supreme being, that created all things, and of His attributes which one of them is love, for He provided food, and the means to make clothing, and shelter, so the world is without excuse for not believing in God, and loving people, which love is the fulfilling of the law.
Isa 41:21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

God proves that He is real, and the one true God out of all the religions that claim a God, for He told us the end from the beginning, and told us the start of creation, and how things came about, and the whole history of mankind from Adam and Eve until Jesus puts down the wicked on earth, and the saints dwelling with Jesus forever.
God told us the history of the Jews, and told us the kingdoms that would be on earth, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, the Roman Empire, and the next kingdom to come is the world split in to ten sections with a leader in each section when the nations come together and try to establish peace on earth, and end up rebelling against God following the New Age Christ, which He will end this sin business on earth.
God warns the saints of the new age movement that is the beginning of the end, and the future for this sinful world, that will lead the world to the beast kingdom where they will acknowledge no personal God, and told us all things concerning the end time.
There is enough proof to come to the conclusion that there is a God, and He is the God of the Bible, but we have a choice so some will not see it, convincing themselves it is not true.
Luk 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him(Lazarus) to my father's house:
Luk 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Luk 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Many people once they are persuaded in their mind there is no God it can be kind of hard to shake them from that even if you have good proof of it, although it being short of God actually appearing to them in visible form.
God will not show anybody a visible manifestation of Himself to people so they will believe, and that is what many people want to see, but it is based on faith, and blessed is he that has not seen a visible image of God but still believes.
But the witness of creation is a big witness, and if God says it is a testimony there is a God that created all things, and they should love this higher power, and love people, the 2 greatest laws, then it is a valid, sound witness, so why do they ignore that, which they choose not to believe it, and proclaiming themselves to be wise, like they know what is up concerning reality, they became fools.
And prophesy is a big witness, especially in the end time, and now, for we will probably see peace established in the Middle East, and all Jews go to Israel, and not be in the nations anymore, as God says He will do, and the nations coming together and saying Peace and safety as they try to establish peace on earth, and after that the time the world will not endure sound doctrine, but according to the new age movement which is based on evolution, and people can still evolve, and waiting for the New Age Christ to cause them to evolve to be greater, and spiritual.
And prophesy is a big tool that can be used to reach people in the end time, and when they see it come to pass they might think the Bible is true for already telling us ahead of time what will happen.
They do not believe that the New Age Christ will appear to cause them to evolve until the nations come together as one and try to establish peace on earth, hence they want to bring the nations together, and have a compromise between all beliefs, or a blending that is balanced for all, so all is involved to bring the nations together.
When America and Russia cooperate together, and compromise, it is close.

I am virtually certain I could intellectually prove God through science, Scripture, and experience. I am EQUALLY certain that there are many who suppress the Truth because they know if there is a God they will be held accountable to Him.

Through common sense, of course, but we learn in schools now not to trust common sense, at least not public schools any way. I was taught if you can't measure quantify or reproduce something that you can't prove it like space. We know it's there but until we can prove by science it's just a theory. I didn't make that up, one of my professors said it. Logic gone off the rails.

I think atheism is a paradox because in many ways it says nothing without proof exists, but it cannot prove by it's own standards that it is correct either. The bottom line is faith, they have faith in their double speak we have faith in things unseen. It's kind of like time travel. God can do it because he is not bound by the rules he made for the universe because he made the universe. It did not make him. If we could travel at the speed where time aledgedly stops and live. It would be a one way trip with no concievable way back.
