If we stand for and teach the word of God without apology we will suffer reproach. If Christ suffered reproach so will we His disciples. Jehovah was slandered and Israel was reproached for the name of God.
The world is always going to be against God. Stand for the truth and take your lumps but continue to stand.
1Pe 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
