Faith as a work works in two different directions inspired from heaven, or from earth.

I would agree as a gift it becomes our born again communication line or what I would call born again soul . Two walking yoked together in agreement. Previously having "no faith" as it pertains to the work of God in us not seen . Faith works two ways .God reveals himself as a source faith towards us .It works in us to both will and perform His good pleasure we then can offer our faith towards Him. In all cases he does the first work to turn us, again to that we can in turn, turn to Him..(repent)

If we would offer our faith coming from us towards him as the first work we would be required to repent of that dead work . That crucifies Christ over and over to public shame as if one demonstration was one enough .

Hebrews 6 King James Version (KJV) Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

We need to believe (have faith) in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.

Jesus said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. (Luk 7:50 KJV)

"Have faith in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved! (Act 16:31 CEV)

I cannot continue to let the Word of God be brought into disrepute like this, and for that I am going to put you on ignore.

Did God ordained people to eternal life on random base?

I do not think so

Like you say about Cornelius, He ordained people to eternal life base on what is in people heart.

Cornelius had a good heart, which is a sign of him being devout. Cornelius's heart of stone had already been changed in regeneration by God to a heart of flesh (Ezk 36:26).

God turns us by taking us when we were yet dead spiritually and exchanges our stony heart to a heart of flesh in regeneration (Eph 2:5). We have no faith of our own until we have been regenerated and given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which FAITH is a fruit of.

SAVED, being translated from the Greek, means delivered. Our faith is given to us in regeneration by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which FAITH is a fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal). Our faith can deliver us here in this world, but only the Faith of Jesus can deliver us eternally. In your quoted scriptures of Luke and Acts, these people were saved (delivered) here in time, not eternally, because they were already delivered (saved) eternally.

So you believe God chose Cornelius on random basis and He change his heart before Cornelius abide in Him?

John 15
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Seem to me abide in Me mean believe to Jesus
Only when people abide in Jesus they able to bear fruit

So I believe Cornelius bear fruit after believe in Jesus not before.

Epg 2:5 explains that after we have been regenerated (God exchanging our stony heart for a heart of flesh, Ezk 36:26) we have been quickened together with Christ (abiding with Christ). Jesus is the vine and God's regenerated children are the branches. When a child of God backslides (turns away from God) and yields himself to the temptations of this world, he is not producing fruit and is cut off from abiding in the vine until he repents of his sin. The branch (eternally saved) when he is cut off, does not lose his eternal salvation.

God said that David was the apple of his eye, yet David committed adultery, murder and lied. Do you think that he will go to heaven? Accepting Christ is an action of man after he has already been regenerated. Those that Christ died for (only those that God gave him) their sins are washed clean by the blood of Christ and they will not be judged at the last day and will not taste of the second death. Only those that Christ did not die for on the cross will be judged at the last day and receive the second death and will be in the lake of fire.

Cornelius did bear fruit before he accepted Jesus as his savor because it says he was a devout man and prayed to God. Accepting Jesus as our savor is not the cause of our eternal salvation. We do not accept Jesus until after we have been regenerated.

Then why Jesus say without me you can not bear fruit?

So you believe when the branch cut of do not mean burn in hell' am I correct?

This what Jesus say

John 15

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.


What is cast them into the fire mean in this verse
