Job teaches us to trust in God no matter what happens. This is the lesson Job learned after seeing the way our Lord Jesus was horribly abused.

Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Jn.12:38, Isa.53:1

Isaiah 53 describes the sinful way our Lord Jesus was abused by mankind. John goes on to explain,

These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. Jn.12:41

Which refers to,

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.....Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of uncleanlips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Isa.6:1,5

So when Job says,

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. Jb.42:5-6

He repents after seeing how Christ himself was unjustly and viscously
treated.

When Job answers God he says (Job 42:2 ,3,5/ online hebrew interlinear bible) :

« I know that thou canst do every [thing], and [that] no thought can, be withholden from thee. »
« Who [is] he that hideth counsel without knowledge ? Therefore have I uttered that I understood not ; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. »
« I have heard of thee by the hearing of the hear : but now mine eye seeth thee. »

And this comes after Job 38-41 where God speaks about his creation and all his power. He can do everything and he knows everything.

What Job didn't understand was why he was suffering when he'd done nothing to deserve it, until he saw the King. That's when he clearly understood,

If the world hateyou, ye know that it hated mebefore it hated you. Jn.15:18

He that hateth me hateth my Father also. Jn.15:23

if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 1Pet.2:21-22

the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. Psa.69:9

Well in fact he deserved it according to the devil because there was no one like him on earth so the devil couldn't accept such example of faithfulness to God. He was jealous!

Certainly the devil hates God and those who love him. We who love the Lord continue to love people who mistreat us as God does and as his Son gave perfect example. Jesus patiently endured the sins committed against him.

I don't know if he hates God, he is jealous for sure. Jesus condemned the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the scribes and those who opposed God.

Well my sincere friend, anyone who wants to see someone curse God hates God. And our Savior warned people, but condemned no one.

I am going to look for different situations to light up our discussion in connexion with curse and hate and jealousy and condamnation.

How would define situations such as :

- the devil offers the world to Jesus if he worships him
