- For me, the choice is clear!

- On the one hand, you have a parasite leading to destruction, on the other hand, the creator of the universe, the source of knowledge and wisdom leading to eternal life!

- But the choice is not clear for many!
That's for sure. We are so blessed to know Him. And to think that we'll spend eternity with Him. That fact that I complain just shows my frailty. And He chooses to live in us! BTW Thanks for your teaching on Job and Daniel. They are very important books to me and you help me understand them better. :)

- My pleasure!

- I always want to study more and tell about God's word!

- There is so much to learn but time and efforts are necessary!

- And it brings so much energy to go on and search more!

- And when people participate, you need to make more research and spend more time and more efforts!

- But then you get even more energy!

- God is not responsible for man's or the devil's bad actions!

- But it will put an end to all of them!

- It's only a question of time!

- The problem for many is that God's time is not human time!

He's given us free will.
"Wait" has been an answer He has often given me.
Weeks, months? Couldn't be years...or decades, could it?
Yeah, it could be.

I used to have a unquenchable desire for reading the word. And all I could find to read about it. Then I got a brain injury which made it difficult for me to read. I used to read for hours at a time. Now I find it unpleasant to read. Perhaps that's why I appreciate what you do. Though I don't even try to keep up with you.

So how do you do? How long can you read at a time? Is it worse on some days? when you say unpleasant, do you mean painful?
I like to remember the case of Michelangelo who had arthritis but who was able to practice his art up to the week of his death! If he hadn't been active, he would have lost the use of his hands!

God and Job / Job and God

Job 16:

- He calls them troublesome comforters!

- Something is wrong and unnatural from their part!

- If he were them, he would encourage them!

- He thinks God has taken everything away from him!

- And his enemies are striking him!

- And he keeps telling about his pain and suffering!

- Thus he is let alone without any comfort!

- He is only waiting for death but till the last breath, he will fight and speak to God!

- He still thinks God will listen to him!

Of course the Lord will listen...He loves him. It's about who He is. Right?

- Yes, definitely!

- But sometimes we may think the answer comes late!

- At the difference of Job, we have the Bible to look for answers!
