Oh, you mean we can't cite Moses because he wasn't a Christian?
Christ's ways trump Moses' ways.
†. Heb 1:1-2 . . In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the
prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has
spoken to us by His son.
†. Matt 17:5 . .Behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a
voice out of the cloud, saying: This is My beloved son, with whom I am well
pleased: Listen to him!
†. John 3:36 . . He who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the
wrath of God abides on him.
†. Heb 3:3-6 . . Jesus deserves far more honor than Moses, just as a person
who builds a fine house deserves more praise than the house itself. For
every house has a builder, but God is the one who made everything. Moses
was certainly faithful in God's house, but only as a servant. His work was an
illustration of the truths God would reveal later. But Christ, the faithful Son,
is in charge of the entire household.
