Acts11
19¶Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the JEWS ONLY .
Yep, this is history, but in Matt 28 Jesus command his disciple to preach the gospel to all nations.
Act 2:19 is a story, not a command.

Preach the gospel to all nations > command

They preach the gospel to Jews > a story or information

So who are those that Jesus said afterwards "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels"?

If you read that passage literally, it refers to those "42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. "
Verse 42 & 43 are the goats, the wicked, the unregenerate.

Actually it just means the person who claims that faith but shows no works has never had real faith.
Belief is a work, studying the bible to be approved by God is a work.....not every work has to involve some ministry or other.
God save us from the church of perpetual motion. (and the church of perpetual EMOTION.)
1 John 2:19
19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that [a]it would be evident that they all are not of us.

I have been believe what ever Jesus teach for years.
Yes, Jesus said during the 4 gospels, many more things that will send a believer to hell.

If you want to apply them for today, all the best ;)

Did Jesus say that they were sent to hell because they are the "unregenerate", or because "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:"

Why not read the bible literally there, rather than read into the passage?

I think you have problem with what is the biblical definition of believer.
Believer go to heaven.
Believer is people that believe His teaching and try to obey.

Believer in the sense of only believe that Jesus is God but not agree with His teaching, not go to heaven.

Yes so now you realised that, it’s not only your favourite sins of murder and adultery right?

it’s also not feeding the hungry, not visiting needy in prison etc that can also result in you “not going to heaven”. 😅

I never say only murder go to hell. People without love go to hell.

Luke 10
25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[c]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”

28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

Verse 25
What must I do to go to heaven

27 love

It mean no love no heaven

Yes the life of a believer is so uncertain, so many things can send us to hell right? 😅

Base on these verse unloving person not go to,heaven. Unloving manifestation can be a lot of thing, ex, not feed the hungry, not pray for the hungry, steal, murder etc

You not murder your love one don't you?

No believer of the gospel will go to hell. If you think so, give me scripture proof.

You are skipping around my question, can you answer it with a yes or no?
I understand that passage literally.

It did not mention anything about regenerate or unreg, so the answer if you insist is no.

I think James explained what a dead faith is, when he called it belief. (Even demons believe) a dead faith is a mere belief, which has no power to save, a person who is not saved has not been given the Holy Spirit, not been changed and made a new creature, thus they have no power, they may be able to follow some rules and maybe even look like true believers, but like a dog they return to their vomit,

I also, disagree, they did not have faith, a dead faith is no faith at all, as James said, they CLAIMED to have faith, it’s one thing to claim it, it’s another to actually have it
There are many Christians that claim to be full of faith and act the same way an unbelieving person acts. The demons know more about the spiritual world and Godly things then we do, but that will not save them. knowing and understanding things about salvation, know how Jesus saves us is different to knowing Jesus. Jesus changes us because we know Him. Knowing about Him will not work.
in 1 kings 3 Solomon had 2 women come to him and both claimed to be the mother of the living child, but one was the mother of the dead child. Solomon asked for a sword to chop the child in two. The mother that really loved the child ask for the child's life to be preserved. Faith and works can not be separated they go hand and if you don't really believe something it will show eventually.

If you really love God you will show it. If you really believe Jesus has saved you will show it. faith and works can not be separated.

But Romans 4:5 separated belief and work
