You should study and teach yourself.
With fifty years of studying the Bible, I would think that you'd be aware that it is the Spirit who teaches. It is the Lord who grants Understanding, Knowledge, and Wisdom to those to whom He reveals His message.

You seek only conflict, not understanding. I have devoted more than 50 years to the study of scripture. If you study, really study and not just believe your pastor, you will begin to really want to understand more. The Jews have the Old Testament plus other books. The Muslims have some of the same principles in the Quran as in the Bible. I use only the KJV of the Bible, not because it is best but because I know it well.

When I was much younger, I timidly sat and listened to a pastor rant and rave but not dispense understanding. You should study and teach yourself.
Your pastor should instruct you in the scripture you claim to have read for yourself for half a century. Then you would know Islam's God is not the God of the Bible.

Conflict promoters don't know that. Which is why you claim Allah is the same God for Christians and Jews.

Islam's God does not beget.
The conflict lover is one who introduced Islam into an Arab Christian forum.

The other conflict lover is one who knows nothing about Islam or Christianity as is proven with their observation of one God for Islam,Christians and Jews.

For Islam's Allah to be the God of Christians and Jews, God who spoke to Jews and Christians first would have to be recognized as calling himself errant formerly when sending himself into the world as Jesus, the son of God. Immanuel,''God with us''.

And this because of what Allah revealed through Muhammad generations after Christ walked the earth.
Allah, your ''one god'' for Islam and Christianity says anyone who claims Allah beget a son is cursed.
Then it will be said to the Christians, ‘What did you use to worship?’ They will reply, ‘We used to worship Messiah, the son of Allah.’ It will be said, ‘You are liars, for Allah has neither a wife nor a son. (Sahih Bukhari, Book #93, Hadith #532s)
  1. Surah 23:91, “No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!
  2. Surah 19:35, “It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.”
  3. Surah 19:88-93, “They say: “(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!” 89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 90 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 91 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 92 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 93 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant.”
  • Curse on those who say God has a son
    1. Surah 9:30, “The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!”

They don't know because they are here to stir the trouble the OP wanted to interject.

Christians don't introduce nor defend Islam and its Allah into an Arab Christian forum.

And the Spirit speaks to the heart. I don't allow humans to judge me.

I hear what you're saying. Unfortunately, we are constantly being judged . . . even here . . . whether we like it or not.

Me, on the other hand . . . I couldn't care less than I do when "christians" falsely judge me. It bothers me none. The Lord purchased me with a heavy price; thus when these lower case "c" "christians" judge me, they contend with my Father. It's gonna suck to be them.

I won't go into detail because I think that my suffering is common to man. If God sent it, it was done to teach me. Most of the time we hurt each other causing suffering. If you knew me, you might say that I am a failure.

I like what you wrote. And yes, I believe the Scriptures when they state that God disciplines the ones He Loves. And who does He Love? His Elect; those whom He gave to Christ. I just posted the following in a thread that I am hosting (earlier today) and thought that you might relate to it. It is:

Psalm 73:11-12, 16-17 NET - 11 "They say, "How does God know what we do? Is the sovereign one aware of what goes on?" 12 Take a good look! This is what the wicked are like, those who always have it so easy and get richer and richer. ... 16 When I tried to make sense of this, it was troubling to me. 17 Then I entered the precincts of God's temple, and understood the destiny of the wicked."

If you are suffering, then consider yourself Blessed! It can be very difficult to feel fortunate when we are being falsely persecuted, but after our period of suffering, the Lord will restore us. Hang in there!

1 Peter 5:10 NLT - "In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation."

And no, you are NOT a failure. Rather, you are my Sister in Christ (if in fact you are female). ;)

Yes, I am female. I was married 38 years and suddenly it was over. I cried and felt bad for years. What happened was teaching for any who will be instructed.

I hope that you rarely, if ever, feel bad about things. I've discovered over the decades that feeling bad is not something that comes from God. Instead, it is very much at the core of Satan's simple work. Going all the way back to Adam and Eve, we find that Fear, Shame, and Guilt were the new, primary effects of the Sinful Nature. Once a person exercises Fear, Shame, and Guilt it were like eating food, chaos ensues in often far too many different ways.

It's simple. Once I realized that my emotions were a reflection of the Devil and not that of the Lord, I realized that I was playing the sneaky game of the Devil. So, I don't waste my time feeling bad about things. If I'm truly guilty of harm, I am happy to make all amends with interest . . . so why worry? If another person won't' allow me to make full amends with interest, and they choose to remain angry and upset, then I did my part. Life is so much easier after realizing that my negative mindset was actually exactly what Satan wants out of us rather than what God wants from and through us.

And, I appreciate how you expose some of the inner workings of your life for us all to use as learning experiences.

Whatever people might say about Muslims, they pray five times a day. They take fasting seriously, giving to charity, modesty and the family are important.

I have great respect for Muslims. The fact that the Shia and Sunni hate each other makes me sad. Their views on Jesus merely speaks to their lack of understanding that God created a Son. In their view, God is so great that he was above procreation. Most Christians do not realize that their views on Jesus may not be absolute. I am anxious for God to teach us what we do not understand.

Muslims reject what Jesus said of Himself. There's no getting around that despite all your idealizations of Islam.

Why do most of the women wear those body coverings?

Humans and their religions are imperfect. If you are a Quran only Muslim, there is little reason for a woman to cover. UNLESS you know that married Jewish women use wigs to cover, Christian women are supposed to cover at least while praying. (1 Cor. 11 KJV).

It is sad that there are those who are intent on maintaining an unholy polarization between those who believe in one God.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not the god of Islam. Mohamed was a mass murdering paedophile, supposedly a prophet of Allah. All you have to do is compare Jesus and Mohamed and you will see that that Christians and Muslims have nothing in common.

Sure, yet many Muslim countries treat women like dirt and demand that they cover up. Anyone who dares to stand against such repression does so at the risk of their life, as a Taliban cleric discovered recently.

Salman Rushdie just lost an eye to a follower of the Qu'ran.
I am so sorry to hear of this. I pray he has a speedy and full recovery.

After the publication of “The Satanic Verses,” often-violent protests erupted across
the Muslim world against Rushdie, who was born in India to a Muslim family.

At least 45 people were killed in riots over the book, including 12 people in Rushdie’s hometown
of Mumbai. In 1991, a Japanese translator of the book was stabbed to death and an Italian translator
survived a knife attack. In 1993, the book’s Norwegian publisher was shot three times and survived.

Islam 101. That's why the truth about Islam is so hard to find. Who wants to speak up and put their lives at risk?
