It made me smile when you said you've been smiling so much! That was awesome to hear. :) Praise God for the talk you had with your friend! Have you talked to a doctor about the insomnia? I'm all into natural remedies when they work, but unfortunately, I have to take meds to sleep (fortunately over the counter.) I've tried everything else and that's all that works. I'll be praying you find what works for you!
