Saved in 1981, which is the first time I ever heard the Gospel. I love to teach the Bible to children, so I volunteered in Sunday School and a program called AWANA for over 20 years to teach God's Word to the children to help them rightly divide the Word of Truth!

Curious...your spiritual status on your about section says "not Christian". Why is that?

I appreciate the question.

I teach that "Christian" was a Roman label put on believers in Antioch. In Roman tradition, followers of philosophers were named after their master. In the NT, the church are called "believers", "sons of God", "children of God", "saints", "my children", etc. "Christian" embodies a philosophical tradition. We are more than followers of wise teachings. We are children of God in Christ.

How many times is foolish mentioned in the Bible?
The term appears approximately 360 times throughout the Old and New Testaments. So, who is a fool? Persons who do not possess wisdom are called “fools.” A fool's behavior is described as “folly,” which is silliness and craziness. Folly is the opposite of wisdom.
