To those that write poetry, how do y'all begin? Do you have like a topic you feel pressed to write about? Or do you like just start writing? I've had this stirring in my heart to write, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Well, I usually have a pressure/urge/stirring in my spirit for some time. It's really uncomfortable because for a while I seem to have a block, but I believe it's just The Lord bringing me the right words. Then at a time when I feel The Lord release me I just sit and write... It just comes out piece by piece.
