Wish you could be open with your parents?

There was a poll teens who wish they could be more open about their lives with their parents and that more of them would have waited to be "active" if they could talk to them?

THUS! i open a discussion for anyone who wants adivice from anyone whos older and can help.

I know its hard to share first so i'll start with the fact that I knew about the birds and the bees and i was in kindergarten and i remember fantasizing over a boy in my class in third grade. it started there and become this HUGE overwhelming monster, my battle with pornography controlled me WHOLE life. i wish there had been some girl out there who would have told me girls go through it too, its not just a guy thing. and someone to tell me that you'll never unsee what you've taken in. it'll totally mess up your life and they ONLY deliverance from it is Jesus. i'm telling you NOTHING else works.

I am a boy of 20 years old,almost 21,and i can say that what you have expereinced is very believable and i also identify with thae same issues.
I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters so from a large family.Im the second youngest.I feel i can contribute to this question you have put forward and help out
a bit.ts easy to be close to the internet and it offers so much that isnt good and its so easy to get hooked in,its really differcult i know,and i to have been
searching likewise to how you have been to those tricky questions.

Firstly i just have to say how much it means to God and to everyone here and around you that you are open to what you see is hard in your life,thats
one of the hardest things,its just letting out and confessing how we are to others and god.I havnt much either,but its so important to have that faith
to just do it.My parent are very helpful parents,i just listen and agree with what they tell me and it really impacts my life even though i dont tell them how
i feel.I would really love to,and be apen about everything it would help so much to be happier and more confident with my life.

I believe many teens and early 20s age people feel the same way as we do.basically i think most of the internet is just controlled my the devil,he just traps people in and makes it seem a normal thing.As time goes by,everyone growimg up has a less chance of knowing more about the lord unless people
like all of us can tell them,its so important and its gods will.I really would like to become a preacher as i grow up

How wonderful it is what you said in your last sentence how Jesus is the only way.That is so true! if only everyone growing up knew that !

To answer your question - Yeah. I do wish I could be more open with my parents. They're extremely religious and conservative, and I am... not. I wish I felt like I could express my true self to them.
