So I was talking to my friend and she was wondering about God. She told me that she doesn't know when He is there watching her and taking care of her and how can she tell He's there. Maybe someone can help explain this.

Hello.

God is so much bigger than this visible universe that He doesn't need to take residence in it. His presence is everywhere yet since we are 3 dimensional being we cannot really see Him as He is. However, you can feel His presence when you seek Him diligently through reading His word, praying to Him and worshiping Him. I am sure of His presence when I do these things, yet I know He is with me even until the day I die and even through all eternity because He promised us so. Tell your friend to submit Her life to the will of God and to ask the Holy Spirit to lead Her life. I'm sure she will also find out His presence is quite real.

God Bless you!

He is ALWAYS here... always watching us. But the only way to please God is having faith. It sounds like she lacks faith. Tell her to pray and give her comfort. But it happens to all of us... its part of growing stronger in Jesus. :)

God is spirit so we cannot see Him or touch Him, but He is always with us. This he promised us. He will never abandon us. It is us who sometimes choose to abandon Him, but even when we do He is still with us because He cannot ever go against His promise and abandon us.

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
John 4:24

" As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Joshua 1:5

"... because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Hebrews 13:5
