Sooo....I've been having a hard time with the concept that I don't have a signifigant other for a reason....my other friends do & I feel out of place.


What else is really hard about being our age?like......what do you struggle with?
 
I used to think about this all the time I promise lol.
Everyone has a girlfriend but what about me? then I was so foolish to think I NEEDED a girlfriend.
Let me tell you this, every relationship I've had i have regretted. every relationship i have had has not worked out and every relationship i have had wasted a bunch of time! I love the feeling of having someone say nice things to me, be "there" for me. But if you think about it, its not all that.
Young dating also is not a great idea. It barely if ever works out and most of the time brings you further from God.
Your friends have someone there dating? thats good for them but there most likely wasting time.
DATING IS PREPARATION FOR MARRIAGE! If your not getting ready for marriage in that relationship then it is pointless.
The most miserable people I see are the ones who are constantly in and out of relationships.

A big thing I struggled with was separating myself from the wrong crowd of people. I always wanted to be a part of it and do things my way.
I got out of high school recently and the people I spent most of my time with mainly doing wrong things with.. there not even part of my life anymore.
 
i always heard that dating was practice for divorce. ive dated so many guys, and ended up being terribly disappointed and realized that i had been trapped in a stressful relationship that should never have begun. i mean if u think about it, you go out with someone, then break up. then you go out with someone, and break up again. is that not perfect practice for divorce?! seems it to me...so then how do u find a relationship that works?! courting, perhaps...but then what is the difference between courting and dating?! why does courting work and dating doesnt?!
 
most of the times, i feel contented being alone. well, a few friends wouldn't bother, after all, it's nice to hang out with them sometimes. but you know what? it's not really necessary to have what your friends have, to be always the same with them. because GOD has His plans for each one of us. and His plans for your friends might not be the ones He has for you. He loves you, and He knows what will make you a lot more happy and what is best for you. I'm not saying it's best to just be single. but maybe, it's not yet in HIS time for you to be in that kind of relationship with guys.
just keep in tune with GOD's plans.. He will give you the right PRINCE :)


hmm.. me? at my age, i struggle on keeping my right standing with the Lord. you know, like most of the teenagers (i guess), i get hook into things in this world. and i'm just praying that the Lord will give me strength to hold on to Him..
