Romans 12:2 (KJV)
The Apostle Paul warned believers not to let the world press them into its mold. Sadly, that’s exactly what’s happening in many corners of today’s church. Instead of transforming the world, the church is often being transformed by it.
We see it when entertainment replaces reverence, when feelings outweigh truth, and when the message is softened to avoid offending the culture. Slowly, the line between the holy and the common begins to fade. The result is a church that looks more like the world than like Christ.
But God’s people are called to renew their minds—to let Scripture shape their worldview, not social media, celebrities, or trends. The Word of God doesn’t evolve to fit society; it stands eternal and unchanging.
The question for all of us is:
Are we letting the Word of God transform us—or are we letting the world conform us?
What are your thoughts? Do you see ways the modern church is being influenced by culture rather than influencing it? How can we personally guard against this drift?

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
