What's Happened to Chat room?

What has happened to chat room? everytime I log in all I get is blank and no one in all the rooms. Has Chat gone down?
 
strangely enough it says I was banned now... that can't be right
 
hmmmmm Website errors probably. But its sorted the chat back open now.
 
I have a hard time believing problem solved for the whole of the site, I can find 0 mods online, I simply need one to kick me if they see me in the room, probm is,.. a message displayed says, "That chat nick is currently in use in the chat room!". and I have been Xed out of the site for quite some time now, before this occurrence.

Kick you? why you want to be kicked out? lol
 
There's a good chance they were working on the site or updating something, hence the hiccup. That or there is a technical problem with the chat app. It happens. :)

Yeah, this is not an uncommon problem with Chat, and no, 'kicking' you isn't effective as you don't appear online to anyone else. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to clear up, but i've seen people go days with it.
 
yea, i've, exp the few second waiting issue from internet connectivity issues, however this is a bit different i've got news from a few admins, which allowed this name to be made, and informed me it happens every once in a while a 1 in 5,000 chance, that a user's account gets locked up like so, and in order for the problem to be resolved they have to restart the server which in doing so would kick all chatters from the chat, which in time to come, robo plans on using a different and new server, which will fix this problem, till then, this is my new chat nic :)
 
it seems that I have been busy away from chat. I am usually expected to be the one who would post this kind of message on thread. im sure its fix by now. :)

A new server? I thought he was simply planning on redesigning the antiquated chat app, since it was developed around such an old build of Flash.
