I hope it is alright to make a new post, I know there is another post about the gap theory, but I think it is better to make a new post
what questions does the gap theory not answer?
You may want to start off explaining what Gap Theory is for those who are unfamiliar with it.
What versions? To attempt to elaborate a little, I would assume that the "Gap Theory" in this question is about the theorized gap in time between Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. This is an attempt to reconcile the two best known "creation" stories, the third story about creation is not as widely recognized, but the existence of the third story also reveals the mythic nature of the first two. But likely the most important thing to realize is that the account in Genesis 2 does not deal with humanity as a whole but rather the origins of the line of Abraham and his descendants as revealed in the genealogies that have parallels in other ancient middle eastern literature, as well as the genealogies in the two, largely ignored, versions of Genesis (actually the entire Torah) that were also known at the time of Jesus.
What versions?
The word “create” is not in exodus 20:11. I can make a table but I am not creating the table out of nothing. I am simply forming what is already created into a table. The “gap theory” does not adequately address Exodus 20:12.
“For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.”
Exodus 20:11 KJV

True, but given that the Exodus verse is exhaustive in scope and the time frame is the main point, the precise verb is of tertiary importance. God did what He did in six days, just as we are told in Genesis. The word “create” is not in exodus 20:11. I can make a table but I am not creating the table out of nothing. It doesn’t negate gap theory though since gap theory agrees that God reformed the earth in 6 days. The theory sets apart “the beginning” and “day 1”. The gap would come before day one with God starting His reformation on day 1.True, but given that the Exodus verse is exhaustive in scope and the time frame is the main point, the precise verb is of tertiary importance. The ica stones were hoaxes created in the 60’s which is why the dinosaurs look exactly like the recreations of archaeological finds that we see in movies and museums.I'm not super familiar with the GAP theory, other than it's a older earth creation theory.
I don't agree that and believe in a young earth.
The dinosaurs were known by people and called dragons. They are drawn in ancient ica stones. Some of the "dinosaurs" we know are actual dinosaurs or reptile like creatures. But some are giant birds... Hence having a beak and being more of a carnivore. Many were plant eaters...flat teeth like us. But all were adaptations after the fall as we were all originally plant eaters. Beaks change to diet.
Civilization started fairly quickly after the Fall bc people were always around. So its not years of dinosaurs followed by cave man etc. People were incredibly intelligent (much more than today) but now we have numbers and technology as our advantage. DNA has gotten weaker over time (opposite of evolution) and so you will see more disease and lower IQs. 80 to 100 being the average, which is very low. Even during the civil war kids were writing better than many adults could today and education was the highest in the world in the usa. During ancient times people were incredibly intelligent, hence architecture still being around today like all of the pyramids. Compared to China who builds a bridge and it collapses the next day. Also people today not even knowing how they built the pyramids back then. Party because there were giants (nephilim) back then and partly from being very smart.
Evolution is not real in any sense, but God does include adaptation for a high survival rate. We are losing animals....1000s to 10,000 every year. We're not gaining them. Even animals have more health problems and don't live as long.
I agree. You may want to start off explaining what Gap Theory is for those who are unfamiliar with it.
Look carefully at the words:It doesn’t negate gap theory though since gap theory agrees that God reformed the earth in 6 days. The theory sets apart “the beginning” and “day 1”. The gap would come before day one with God starting His reformation on day 1.
One says He created and the other says He made.Look carefully at the words:
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Both say, “heaven and earth” leaving no “gap”.
I didn’t say they had the same meaning. Focus on what was made/created; you will see that the verb is tertiary, and there is no room for a gap.One says He created and the other says He made.
…
Why would the author use both words in this verse if they had the same meaning?
The verb has everything to do with it. The two different verbs shows that there were two different processes, one occurring in the beginning and the other occurring in the six days. The “gap” would be between the two processes.I didn’t say they had the same meaning. Focus on what was made/created; you will see that the verb is tertiary, and there is no room for a gap.
Gap theory states that there was a creation prior to that described in Genesis. The "gap" is between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. Some (me) believe that the word translated "was" can be translated "became". There are a number of passages that I believe confirm this. Larry Ollison goes into this in depth. Gap theory does not deny the six 24 hour days of creation.I thought it didn't take the Bible's Genesis day lengths as they are. Like trying to fit something into the Bible rather than seeing the Bible as is.
"For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens—He is God; He formed the earth and fashioned it; He established it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited: “I am the LORD, and there is no other."" Isaiah 45:18Look carefully at the words:
