What if Daniel did have a gap between the 69th and 70th weeks?

Missing would be everything in scripture between Jesus’ baptism in the autumn of 27 AD., the onset of the 70th week. Running up through Stephen’s martyrdom in the autumn of 34 AD. Which marks the end of the 70th week.

This would mean no Christianity of the 70th week. No savior Jesus. No gospel. No crucifixion. No Pentecost or Holy Spirit. Or anything else that depends on all the missing pieces destroyed in the gap.

It would mean only a future Antichrist, exchanged for Christ in the 70th week. A Temple with Animal sacrifices. A different Messiah than the New Covenant provided. And centuries of wasted lives now in hell from what we would then call the cult of Christendom.

Jesus' baptism was not the onset of the 70th week.

Since you start with a falsehood, everything else you suggest is false.

Check the scriptures. The Messiah was cut off at the end of the 69th week. His baptism could not have been the beginning of the 70th week.
No, it was the middle of the 70th. Read more carefully.

You're the one who needs to read more carefully. See Dan 9:26. The middle of the 70th week is when the Antichrist will break the covenant initiated at the beginning of verse 27.

This is Jesus, not Antichrist. Think about how evil it is to turn Jesus into Antichrist.

Daniel 9:26 says: "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, " Jesus's crucifixion comes after the first 69 sevens. The gap is there and it explicitly says that the crucifixion will happen during the gap (after the 69 sevens).

After the 69th week = in the 70th week.

"The prince that shall come" in vs 26 is not Jesus.

So stop doing it.
You are turning Jesus into Antichrist and saying he failed to fulfill Daniel's 70 weeks. Why were the Magi looking for baby Jesus in the 69th week if it is still to happen?

Running up through Stephen’s martyrdom in the autumn of 34 AD. Which marks the end of the 70th week..

No it does not, this is an arbitrary "theological" invention of Amillies. Stephen's death has nothing to do with the 70 weeks.

The 70 weeks ended with the "determination" on the city it's destruction in 70 AD at the hands of the Roman Armies:

(Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy)

It doesn't say 70 weeks are determined on Stephen.

The church condemned premillennialism as heresy in 431. It is a Pharisee doctrine Christ refuted.

you mean the roman pagan church?

Yeah I know.. They had to put themselves up against the jews. So they decided they would replace the jew's as Gods chosen.

I will take what Daniel said literally. Everything you said in your first post in this op is a strawman, Not based on fact. Because what you said is not true. Those things STILL could occure wiht a Gap.

If you start at the crucifixion in the middle of the 70th week and subtract or add, you see the entire 70 weeks. If you turn Jesus into Antichrist, you end up where you are now.

Wrong, your understanding of Daniel is in error. This bogus claim of turning Jesus into anti-christ and or supposed Phariseeism without addressing and or refuting the merits of the post is a feeble minded attempt at proving you are right.

You can't figure the difference between age or world in the Greek text, so you ignore the points made and go merrily on dismissing what you don't understand.

The prince is the subject supported by the grammar. Two princes are a topic change not supported. Plus the LXX proves this.
