So everyone in the world is held against the word of God?

Only people who believe in his word and follow his path are saved and the rest are ****ed to hell?


This sounds pretty one sided to me, most of my friends and family do not believe in God, so I just lose them forever? Thats really depressing.


I guess I just need to find the hope in believing, see the good in all that is Christain. I just don't.
 
I have a question. In the real world, if you were given in invitation and told to RSVP in order to be able to go, would you find it one-sided if you were barred from entering the party to which you received the invitation because you did not do that one simple task you were asked to do: RSVP? Or perhaps you are given in invitation to a party and you reject it, but then on the day of you try to go to this party, but you are rejected. Is this one-sided? Or is it just?

God is the same. He has sent out an invitation to all the world, and we have the choice to accept or reject that invitation. It is not at all unjust or unfair of Him to reject any person who then tries to show up to heaven when they initially rejected His invitation.

It is depressing that so many do not RSVP to God or reject the invitation, and it is for this reason that Christians should strive to achieve the Great Commission given to us by Christ.
 
But Rush, the alternative for the party is eternal torture...

And what about people in different parts of the world? Where are they supposed to get their invitations?
 
yes, and?

From Christians. Missionaries go out, evangelize, and then the locals spread the news from there. If one person evangelized to two people successfully one day, and in turn those two people evangelized to two people each successfully the next day, and so on and so forth, at this rate approx. 1 million people would be saved in 20 days alone. Approx. 1 billion in 30 days alone. In theory, it is possible to reach out to the whole world. Christians just are not living up to their full potential.
