Thought I'd start a thread to follow this case and try to get the facts out there. I'm sure everyone who knows about this has an opinion. Feel free to share, but let's keep it civilized and try to avoid personal attacks. As they used to say on Dragnet: "Just the facts."

The first thing I'd like to address is the idea floating around that Boelter was a leftist and a Democrat. The facts don't bear this out. His best friend and part-time roommate, David Carlson, confirmed that Boelter was a Republican and voted for the Donald. He also said Boelter didn't like Tim Walz. The link below is a Facebook video with Carlson. It will ask you to log in, but you don't have to; just close the popup and enable the audio.

Another claim is that Boelter worked for Tim Walz so he must've been a liberal. However, the people who worked on that committee were from the Republican and Democrat parties. They didn't actually work for Walz but were community representatives. They were appointed by someone else and Walz signed off on it.

Another telling video is the one below. No Democrat would be saying the things he's saying in this sermon about the American churches and their confusion on abortion and transgenders.

One thing I haven't really heard a good explanation for is the "No Kings" flyers found in his car. I suspect we may have to hear from Boelter himself about this one.

I got a good laugh from this guy (RA) on his opening sentence.

I ran across an article on Boelter in The Atlantic published on June 17. The Minnesota Suspect’s Radical Spiritual World - The Atlantic

There's also audio which can be listened to here:

https://traffic.megaphone.fm/ATL7953361969.mp3

It's very good for the most part. She talks about Boelter being ordained at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, founded by Gordon and Freda Lindsay. Lindsay is a whole study in himself, stretching back to the early 1900s. She explains how Boelter would've been exposed to Lindsay's belief in "violent prayer." She explains how it doesn't really mean to be violent, but fervent. But this concept could've become warped in Boelter's own mind. CFNI has some pretty interesting connections with some of the high profile Christian nationalist "apostles" and "prophets" out there today.

What I find most interesting of all is CFNI's connection to many figures associated with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). The NAR is definitely motivated politically and believes Christians must infiltrate and take over the government. In the audio she mentions that in his sermons in the Congo, Boelter says he believes God is going to raise up apostles and prophets in America. I've located four of his sermons on YouTube, but that's all I could find. I don't think he says that in any of these sermons, but I haven't gone over them with a fine-toothed comb. I hope I can locate something where he actually says this.

Here is link to the archived page that so many people quote in their reporting. It's about his RevoFormation group that he was apparently trying to start. There's also an ad for a book he was supposedly going to publish in 2006. As far as I can tell, it never did get published. There's another archived page, but it doesn't have anything helpful, just a bunch of dead links. I couldn't create a direct link for some reason, but click the link below and use the June 20 link. It's interesting that "RevoFormation" is practically "Reformation," as in New Apostolic Reformation; just take out the "vo."

Found it. He mentions apostles and prophets being raised up in America a couple of times in this sermon. It's cued up to the place toward the end when he really rails against the American church. His righteous indignation is evident. Apostles and prophets being raised up clearly shows his affinity for the NAR.

Listening to the whole serm

Listening to the whole sermon, I can see how might've believed he was on a mission from God to save the church in America.

A letter from Boelter to the FBI has apparently surfaced, in which, he claims Tim Walz instructed him to assassinate Amy Klobuchar. Those who have seen the letter claim it's incoherent and rambling.

This is interesting; I think it may reveal a couple of things. One, Boelter may be laying the groundwork for an insanity defense. Two, it may shed light on why he had those "No Kings" flyers in his car. They were intended as misdirection; to make it look like it was the work of a deranged leftist. His letter shows he clearly is capable of shifting blame.

Something else has come to light. Search warrants have revealed new information about Boelter and his family. The story is in the link below. In one storage unit they found five body bags, the exact number of his children. Scary to think what that might be about. When his wife was stopped by police after the shootings, all five children were with her.

This is an interesting video about Vance Boulter and Mike Lee. Some may know Lee from his initial off the wall claims about the shootings, that he later retracted. The speaker gives some interesting background on him and his role in the fake elector plot in 2020. I've cued it up at about 6:30, where the discussion of Boelter really starts.
