Hello
My Church offers an annual grant to families that attend the Christian school on their property.
It’s just a financial gift to families of the church/school.
“We want to support families in raising their children in the Christian faith.”
Each year I decline the grant because we are fairly blessed financially and I don’t tithe. I do help in some ways like volunteering etc.
I have a Christian friend who is in some financial strain right now and I’m thinking to accept the grant this year and gifting it to her. Would doing such a thing be morally wrong? I would like to help her financially out of our family funds but my husband is fairly restrictive in giving money. He’s not a born again believer (yet
) so we see Christian charity differently of course. I asked if he would agree to help them with the grant money and he agreed.
What should I do.
