Trading Away The Anointing?

God dealt with me how that the church has been guilty of trading down from righteousness to unrighteousness with sermons, teaching, & so forth in order to keep up with the times or other churches.
Many pastors are trading down the anointing of God for books or internet sermons to preach/teach from. The reason they no longer have that anointing seems to be because they preach/teach on things that aren't from God.
How can they possibly expect God to bless something that was never His?
Nowadays preachers cover a study on a good topic they find, but the timing is all wrong.
Have we forgotten that God chooses the TIMING as well as the topic?
Have we forgotten that God only anoints what is HIS?
Why won't pastors pray through for the sermon of the hour?
Your thoughts.
 
What do you base your statement on?
How many churches have you witnessed this in?
You made a very broad charge that you cannot know is true unless you have visited all churches.

Yes, I could easily find a whole lot of churches in my city that preach straight from the Bible.

But it is a bit too easy and common to go to things like AI to look for Bible answers and also popular life enhancing books.

That is probably true in most places, but we should not judge ALL or MOST churches based on what we see in one or two we visit.

They were NEVER anointed to begin with. otherwise they would have remained enlighten in the Spirit.

This is the Word of God that states :

James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

  • James 1:26: Warns that a person who "seems to be religious" but doesn't control their tongue is deceiving themselves, showing outward shows of piety are vain.
  • 2 Timothy 3:5: Warns of people having "a form of godliness but denying its power," indicating external religious acts without internal transformation.
Not one religion of the world follows this command, NO NOT ONE!!....

John 14:15: "If you love me, keep my commands,"

Had any one of the many worldly religions done this command, they would have remained Spiritual, but not one religion is Spiritual.

Jesus , the savior of all mankind never claimed any religion/s.

Jesus proclaim a Faith based on his own Spiritual ANOINTING, the Christ of God.

This Faith was later mock and called "Christian", a term coined by the non-believing people of Antioch, likely as a nickname or even a derogatory label for the followers of Jesus, as recorded in Acts 11:26 and Acts 26:28.

Luke 21:14-15, Come to the end of self and see new in the Father and Son as Won (One) fro you too, then next. This new life given is new between God and you personally, then share that between one another, thank you for the postPhil 3:1-4

This is to the general church, but that doesn't mean all of them. Churches across different denominations.

I don't look to AI for answers..... I don't trust AI. Nor do I buy/read 'christian' books. I don't trust them either.

You said it, different denominations. Each prefers Tens, twenty's and hundreds. Yet truth doe get spoke, not always the whole truth. So read the Bible for yourself, between God and you. Not to destroy other or overcome others. Just to learn and know truth over error, that only God himself reveals. Remember, evil comes to the Church as an age of light

If I can answer that? Me, and many see there is only one true Church, not really Church, more like Ecclesia. (the called out ones)
Hebrews 8:1-4
All denominations and non demonizations are in religion to get whatever anyone is after to get. The Temple in AD 70 was is destroyed. The new; is God Father and risen Son living in you and through you in love and mercy to all. Those that stand in continued belief to God, see eventually 1 John 2:27 and are new, and do not have to go to Church buildings for any justification or sanctification
God does that in us each personally, at least has been doing that in me and does that in all that are sincere to God over Plaudits, popularity, of other people. Thanking Father and Son as Won (One) daily
