As I walk through this life
fighting my battles and
facing the strife.

Lord help me to lean alone
on thy might trusting not the
flesh nor human sight .

Rather lean holy on thy name
for thou art the God who
forever more is the same.

Oh praise thee in the fight or
in times of peace, Lord help me
to live my life right.

Help me also to never stray
help me to live my life
thy way.
